Movers we had booked fell through at last minute. I googled companies near me and found A&M on Sunday afternoon. Sent a request online for setting up a move on Monday. They got back to me right away and they could work it out. They would be out Monday morning between 9 and 10. They arrived, as promised, and did a fantastic job. They took photos for me of damaged furniture from the previous mover, who put everything in storage. They wrapped everything and were very careful loading and unloading. I was so impressed with them. Movers were excellent - efficient and careful. However, company communication was poor. Despite verbal confirmation and day before email confirmation the movers did not arrive day of as planned. I called and emailed multiple times before getting through to someone. Ultimately, they were able to send a crew around 2:30pm (planned time was 9-10am) but because of the late start couldn't finish that day. Planned for the next day to finish but got caught up at another move (not the movers fault, they weren't planning to move us over two days) and couldn't finish the job until 3d later. All would have

Do not use this company. They damaged pretty much every piece of furniture we own and then had the audacity to tell us “you can expect damage when you move”. Take a look at the pictures. That is not how you expect your furniture to look after moving.

This is honestly the best experience I've ever had with a moving company. We used A&M for our move from Conway to Carolina Shores and they were amazing. The two gentlemen that moved our stuff were professional, courteous and friendly and took such great care with our stuff. I honestly cannot say enough good things about A&M Friendly Movers and their employees.
