Booked an appointment days in advance, was told my appointment would be from 9-11. Expecting that meant time started at 9am and would go to 11am. At 9:15am I call for an ETA was told they wouldn’t be coming until closer to 11am. Received a call around 10:10am stating their ETA was 30 minutes. Waited until 11:22am before calling as to regards of where they were at and what the ETA was, was then told their ETA was about 12-15 minutes. They did not show until 11:45am. Stay away from this Chem-Dry cleaner! What a nightmare experience!! They were late, couldn't be bothered with moving anything (even light tables and chairs) until my husband started moving them ourselves, then they decided that they could help, they did not use any spot cleaner until I said something (Jay pretended that it was in the regular mixture), Spots were there before, and spots were still there after!! I wonder why I even paid to have these cleaned when the end result was NOT clean!! The owner Robert was there and became defensive when I said that I preferred to pay when a job was

Robert was scheduled to show up at 8:30 on Saturday morning. Called us a 8:32 saying they're still loading the truck and would need an additional 20 mins to arrive. Finally arrived at 9:02a. When I asked him what had happened for arriving late, he just shrugged and said "I ran late".
The work performed on my sofa wasn't the most impressive. He spent more talking his head off than treating my sofa. He even quite some time trying to show me some house hacks to clean the grout in my tiles- even though my day was already pushed behind due to his late arrival.

Hearth and Home Chem-Dry reached out to me with a great deal and were able to come out within a few days to clean my carpeting. They were professional, thorough and quick. They had me look at their work to make sure I was happy with the cleaning. The owner even gave me tips on how to clean my tile flooring myself. I will definitely use their services again.

Robert is great with carpet cleaning. I use him every other month because I have a dog that likes to ‘mark his territory’ in my house. His treatment takes care if any urine smell and makes carpet look brand new! Will also work with you to schedule on your needs.

From the moment Robert arrived he was very professional and took care as he went room to room cleaning the carpet. He had cleaned the carpet for us in the past and we were very pleased and the second time he returned he did a fantastic job as expected. He got stains out that I thought were never going to come clean. I was so happy and i would recommend to anyone - plus to mention the price is great!!

Excellent performance, professional services ! Robert has been absolutely expert in every instance we have used him. Not only has he restored the appearance of our carpeting, but, on three separate occasions, he has also rescued us with his flooding restoration services in extremely quick response. In addition, his prices have been very competitive. I would always call Robert for carpet cleaning and flood resolution.

The one time I don't read Yelp reviews first ...I had heard good things about the ChemDry product but did not realize the big distinction between franchisees. Wish I had done more research before wasting $179. Over the telephone Robert said that he would let me know if our rug was worth saving (after my dog had his way with it). However, once at our house he led us to believe that, while the stains might not come out, the urine smell would be eliminated After Robert and his employee allegedly treated the area rug with P.U.R.T., and we let it try out for a couple of days as instructed

Horrible horrible company! Highly unrecommended! Robert, the owner is very unprofessional and I can't agree more on the someone who commented he is a piece of work. First of all, they showed up late like a lot of previous people complained and they didn't even bother to give a courtesy call. I called the office/whoever took the appointment and I was told they are probably late because of the traffic?! Once they got here, it took a while to set up their steam vacuum and Robert who is the owner said, "this guy is new so it is taking time but it will be quick to clean the carpet. It

DO NOT USE Robert/Hearth and Home. We moved most of the furniture in a 4k sq ft home. This should have been an easy job.
Robert lies, denies and does not take responsibility. For more than $500 he used a buffer, NO extraction, no cleaning. He left a smashed carpet with debris behind.
He is lazy, spent time on his cell phone, continued to engage us in unsolicited conversation and worse....he did not watch his buffer and allowed it to creep onto our wood furniture while speaking about knowing it all. He claimed noone would want to clean our carpets because of a unique wood floor....and

This is interesting because I actually told this guy that in the interest of fairness I wanted to give him an opportunity to make this situation right before I posted this review. Clearly he doesn't care about his work product, so here goes: I've NEVER had such a terrible experience with ANY business, let alone a service provider. I usually use Steamco to clean my carpets but came across this offer on Living Social. It was a deal to clean two rooms, plus Living Social was offering an additional 25% off for the holidays. Boy did I make a mistake when I didn't yelp this guy. Robert the owner is a piece of work spitting out nonsense while sitting on my couch while his guy is working. He showed up an hour late. I asked about the power head that Chem dry is known for and he almost laughed at me saying "don't get confused, about which is better I'll show you that the wand is better" well it turns out that the wand took a matter of seconds on a rug which looks the same. Then his worker raced through the carpet while Robert redirected me away from the work constantly talking down to me. Well

Very disappointed. I called for an estimate and was told the rate was $40 per room. I was very upfront with the fact that my main concern was that in one room in particular, my dog has made several messes. This was my main reason for using them as they advertise pet stain/odor removal. So three rooms total plus a hallway and he charges me $250. I will also add that I did not opt for the upgraded patented pet stain treatment as I was told I probably didn't need it. It doesn't add up however I figure it's worth it if the job is done well.

The owner quoted me at $140 over the phone. When he arrived he then changed the quote to over $220 because the area was bigger than he thought. He charged extra for "deodorizing" and then tried to sell me on another service that would have upped the cost even more.
He and his employee were in my house less than 30 minutes. When I came home, stains were not removed and it was obvious that they hadn't even moved the coffee table to clean under it. They did not move any furniture except the chairs in my kitchen.

The owner arrived an hour after the agreed upon appointment time and only after I called and asked where he was. He was home drinking coffee. I had decided to try ChemDry but was skeptical when I watched the process. I had 10 areas "cleaned". After the carpet was dry and vacuumed I could see that it wasn't clean. Using my Bissell SpotClean on a couple areas the extracted water was very dirty. I spoke with the owner who couldn't believe that it wasn't clean and suggested that it was my carpet. Although he offered to come back I decided that it wouldn't produce better

I used them when I moved into my current house. The man "in charge" was standing on my carpet with his shoes talking on his personal cellphone the entire time the other worker (younger guy) was doing all of the work. It took them about 15 minutes to do all of the carpet in my house (it's small) but when I asked him to move so that the ENTIRE carpet would be clean he refused. He then went into a tirade about how the dirtiest part of a house is the bathroom because of the urine that tracks everywhere and that the bottom of his shoes were cleaner than my bare feet... yeah ok way to

Rep was very nice and did a great job cleaning our sofa and two rugs. However, he didn't clean the sofa arm covers -- they look filthy on the freshly cleaned sofa, but instead wasted time cleaning a scrap carpet that we're throwing out -- for free, but I wish he'd spent the time cleaning the arm covers instead because that's what we paid for Aggravating that I have to take the arm covers to the dry cleaners now when I'm in the midst of moving.

I manage apartments and I use Hearth and Home exclusively. They do a wonderful job every time. I really love the cleaning process, it doesn't leave the carpets wet for days. My carpets are always dry in an hour. I also love that they don't have any hidden fees. They are a very trust worthy company and they really do try their best to please the customer.
