This site has been developed to provide information about the various pests that you as a homeowner may encounter in or around the structure, methods of dealing with them and tips on the best way to prevent your house from coming under attack. Incorporated in 1980, AAA Pest Control, Inc. serves the communities in the southeastern Massachusetts counties of Bristol and Norfolk.

Though well qualified in the areas of pest control and IPM (integrated pest management), we specialize in single-episode exterminating. Unlike the more tropical climates where the 'battle of the bugs' is on-going, New Englanders deal mainly with the occasional invasions of such things as termites, carpenter ants, mice, fleas and wasp/hornet nests.

And, of course, there are the standard 'pantry pest' infestations. However, it is not uncommon for a homeowner to go for years without requiring the services of a pest control company. When those occasions do arise, it is our feeling that they should be dealt with as isolated events and should certainly not be seen as requiring initiation of long term contractual obligations.

Nothing seems to strike fear into the hearts of homeowners like the word 'termite'. And no wonder. Termites do more damage to homes each year than all fires, storms and earthquakes combined. That's impressive. Add to the problem the fact that they operate in such a way as to be virtually undetectable to all but a very trained eye, and the fears become somewhat understandable.
The uninversal catch-all word for anything that flies and stings. It helps to first understand that true honeybees are a primitive colony insect like ants or termites and are primarily distinguished by the production and storage of honey and the construction of year-round, colonial nests out of wax.
Mice have been around since cavemen, and are believed to have arrived in North America in the 1500s aboard the ships of Spanish explorers. The word 'mouse' comes from the Sanskrit word meaning 'thief'. Some ancient cultures actually found medicinal uses for cooked mice while other cultures, to the contrary, forbade even the eating of any food that a mouse had chewed claiming that it would cause forgetfulness and earaches.
In recent years, we've seen a major influx of carpenter bees in the northeast. When the weather gets warmer, pest control companies will be fielding calls daily about these insects, usually being mis-identified as bumble bees. Carpenter bees somewhat resemble bumble bees, except bumble bees have dense yellow hairs on the abdomen and large pollen baskets on the hind legs.

Scott was incredibly helpful when my wife and I were in a pinch. Bring in a new house and close to the due date for a new child, he was super responsive and willing to stop by and assist. We called at his busiest time of the year and he went out of his way. If you are in need of someone with great knowledge and expertise, AAA is the way to go. Thank you, Scott!

Scott is great! If you are having issues with little mice critters this is your guy. He's very knowledgeable and offers a six month warranty on his treatment!

We just bought this older home and closed last week and he was there for us right away to help with the issues we're having (with mice).

A funny story in that we found Scott on yelp yet come to find out, complete coincidence that our next door neighbors actually use Scott as well and I joked with him saying well it's proof your keeping the mice away from them as now they came over to our house hahahaha! Do not delay or
