Frederick Heating and Air Conditioning is family owned and operated and has been providing its services to Frederick County, MD since 1994. We've experienced the unpredictability of Maryland weather and understand the importance of having a functioning HVAC system. It is our mission to get your system back up and running as soon as possible whether through repair or replacement.

We also do our best to prevent these inconveniences by offering maintenance plans which include two visits per year and 10% discounts on parts/labor of any necessary repairs.

Our heat pump stopped working over night and we were without AC is the full blown heat of summer. I left a voicemail with FHAC in the middle of the night and they responded back to me first thing in the morning. Our technician Ronnie arrived a few hours later, he was very professional, knowledgeable, and technical throughout the whole process. After diagnosing and fixing the problem our AC was back up and running. I was highly impressed and would highly recommend FHAC to any one in the area needing their HVAC unit serviced. 5 stars to Frederick Heating and Air Conditioning, and 5 stars to Ronnie

Tech texted he was on the way and arrived well within the time window scheduled. Immediately began testing and determined the broken part. Had part on truck. Tested other items on a/c and replaced filter as part of system inspection. Has done work for other neighbors will similar results and satisfaction. Would definitely use again!

We originally spoke with Phil at Frederick Heating & Air. Our system was not working properly, constantly running with cold air (rather than heat) and increasing our bills. We scheduled a time for Phil to come out and look at the units. Since it was a few days out, Phil helped us troubleshoot our system over the phone and created a temporary fix so that we had some sort of heating to keep our family warm. We really appreciate the work Frederick Heating & Air did for us! Our HVAC system was going out and Phil came quickly and gave us the options to repair or replace the system. I cannot say enough good things about this company! From the moment I reached out to Frederick Heating & A/C, I was treated with the upmost respect. Phil was pleasant, professional, honest, and prompt. He was able to give us quotes on several different replacement options for our HVAC system. I called Frederick Heating & A/C yesterday morning at 8AM because my electric heat pump system (16 years old) stopped working and they showed up before 10AM. They were able to install a new system into a crawl space that has 45" height and I had heat before 5PM. They returned this morning to finish hooking up the external unit. They were very professional. I am extremely happy with their proficiency.

We had our heat pump with oil funace backup system converted to a solely electric heat pump/air handler system this past week. We did not have even one problem with this company. Phil came out for a quote very quickly and it did take us a few weeks to decide if we wanted to go forward with it, and he answered every question we had very quickly. The whole system replacement took two full days and they arrived on time both days and were very professional. We had a few other quotes before contacting them and they were the most willing to find us a system that would work with our house and our budget

Frederick Heating & Air Conditioning was one of three firms that we had bid on a replacement of our air conditioning unit and furnace. We chose them because of they had the best plan for the replacement, quality equipment, and a fair price. Phil, who oversaw our installation, was excellent.
