Great service and very friendly. Came out on Sunday to check the system and ordered the part the next day. Our repair was made on Tuesday morning and again they were on time and friendly. We felt the price was fair and the service was wonderful.

Eric Smock Heating & AC installed a new gas furnace and AC unit for us three years ago. They did an excellent job and the whole process was professional from beginning to end. We had compared other service providers and found them to be the best value and most responsive to our inquiries. Since then, they have performed regular seasonal maintenance on our system. They were able to come out same day, did a thorough inspection on our unique high velocity system, and were able to service our unit and getting working properly again right then and there. The guys that came out to work on our rental property were fine. Great, actually. It was the young lady answering the phones for the place that destroyed it for us. Consistently nasty to my wife and I the few times we called. You try to overlook it the first and maybe second time. Were all human, we have bad days. Kill em with kindness. But by the third call, it was a bit much. I would use this place again, as long as I knew that lady was not there anymore.

I had signed up for the HVAC service plan with Eric Smock earlier this year and I am glad I did. In September, Kevin came in a got the heating and A/C all squared away. He was polite and very professional and very helpful in explaining what he was doing and what needed to be done. A few weeks ago, my wife noticed some water on the concrete floor next to the furnace in the laundry room. I called the answering service for Eric Smock and got a call back almost immediately. Just so happened that it was the same technician who helped us before - Kevin! He said he stopped by the next morning first

Out of the country when our renters told us there was an AC issue. Called first thing this past Friday, they came out that afternoon and fixed the problem. Price seemed a little high however based upon the same day service it was worth paying it.

My heat pump decided to quit working on one of those days (May 3, 2018) were Maryland winter suddenly becomes summer bringing along 90-degree temperatures and humidity. I knew my day was coming, as the unit was aging and had been losing efficiency over the past couple of years. I wondered how many days it would take to get it fixed and how much of a hassle this would end up being. My appointment was from 8 to 10 am this morning. Kevin left a text around 7:30 to let me know he was on his way and his ETA of 8am. Excellent! Every
time he came in the house, he put on the booties to keep the house clean- excellent! He informed me what he was going to do and then what he found. He explained everything, even made sure we had carbon monoxide detectors. He was very thorough and remembered to turn the heat back to it's original setting, cleaned up everything and was courteous and professional. Eric Smock's Team is always the best. Thanks Kevin!

Eric Smock Heating and Air has installed and maintained my gas furnace and AC heat pump for over a decade. Truly great service and great value. Any work done has been necessary, done efficiently and for a fair price. Technicians always do a thorough professional job. Very very responsive to emergencies, such as when we had an issue late one night. We had a late night phone call telling us what to do to get by that night and they were on our doorstep to fix the problem at 8 am the next morning. You can not go wrong with this company, they are awesome.

We have been very pleased with Eric Smock Heating & Air Conditioning. Last year on a 90 degree Memorial Day weekend we had our AC unit down. I called and contacted several AC companies, but the only one to respond was Eric Smock. Keep in mind I had never had any work done by them and they were swamped with their own customers already on maintenance contracts. They kept in touch and were out first thing the next morning. They brought portable air conditioners and saved us from the misery of no AC that holiday weekend. Since then they replaced our one AC unit and we are on a maintenance contract

On the hottest day of the year, they decided to open the office to schedule appointments on a first come, first serve basis today! Our AC stopped working Friday so we tried changing the filter and turning the unit off for 8 hours in case the coils were frozen. Saturday morning we called to have a tech come out over the weekend for an additional fee (cheaper than other places we called). The tech was very knowledgeable, not pushy at all, and fully explained what happened; the capacitor died and we needed a replacement. A very inexpensive fix! He also showed us a part that was starting to fray and how we could prevent it from going soon. That is also an inexpensive fix. We didn't have a tech come out Friday (and not pay

I had an HVAC emergency today, and after being thoroughly disappointed with ARS Roto Rooter (DON'T USE THEM!) I called Eric Smock... and was very pleased with the service.
I left a message, and Dave called me back a few minutes later. He walked me through a few things that could be wrong (did I check the breaker box? Of course not Dave. Is the filter dirty? Does this thing have a filter Dave? Etc.) He then came out a few hours later, removed the filter,and told me how and where to go to replace it, told me to let the unit cool down, turn it back on, and call him if it didn't work

Eric Smock was an excellent resource for reviewing our AC unit and options for repair. He came out and gave me a ballpark answer, but more importantly fixed my AC unit and kept it working long enough for us to consider what to do later this summer or this fall since its more cost effective to replace the entire AC/Heating system at one time. Our system is 17 years old and if it lasts for one year or 6 more months, I will call Eric again to get the new system installed.
