Services
Chimneys are often the most weather exposed part of any home. They sit higher than any other part of the house getting every bit of every part of weather from excessive rain, snow, and ice, to excessive sun and wind. These all play a major role in the rapid deterioration of any chimney. The chimney crown acts as a roof to your chimney structure, protecting the flue and top of the chimney from weather-related deterioration or damage.
Most modern flat-roofed construction, whether residential or otherwise, includes these walls at the edges as a matter of safety, both to prevent people from accidentally falling off the roof and to prevent accumulated debris from falling off and possibly injuring people below. Why should you repair a failing parapet wall?
A common masonry repair is steel lintel replacement. As a home ages the steel lintels (the support for the brick work above an opening) sometimes begin to rust and fail. When looking for steel lintel replacement and masonry repair issues on an older masonry building you will look for cracks and separations in the mortar and bricks where the bricks over the opening meets the openings' side walls.

They did a great job. Dan's customer service was excellent. In our first meeting he handed me a business card and their insurance paper work. He sent me a quote the same day and answered all my questions in a timely manner. They did the work and cleaned up. I would highly recommend Dan and FocalPoint. The team at FocalPoint did a beautiful job restoring the brick on my 120 year home. Tuckpointing including custom mixing the perfect color mortar to bring them back to life was done marrying the art and skill of the assignment.
Sergio and his team were super friendly, ensured our plant material around the house was cared for, they cleaned up our space and the neighbors after work each day.
Couldnt say enough good things about the work that was done! Our home is all kinds of beautiful again!

My wife and I are very pleased with the work done by Focal Point Masonry. We asked them for a proposal. They came to our house and we walked around the house, and I noted those areas that needed tuckpointing. During the course of our walk down, they pointed out other areas that needed tuckpointing, and very importantly they explained why. They gave clear honest answers. They did an excellent job grinding out the old soft mortar and matching the new mortar to the existing mortar color. They took great care to not damage the plants located near the tuckpointing area. They did a very good job of cleaning

We used FocalPoint for our chimney. My husband and I were thinking we needed to replace our entire roof and have repairs done to our chimney. We decided to have someone come and just see what the issues were with our chimney (since we have water stains going down our fireplace in the house). We called FocalPoint Masonry they came out the next day. Sergio took pictures and looked at a our roof. He told us our roof was fine our issue was 100% our chimney. They had to totally rebuild our entire chimney down to the roof. Our house is 60+ years old and they were able to match our brick. They did a great
