I'm actually the husband posting this review, and am a fairly accomplished handyman in my own right. So my standards are very high, and I'm please to say Pete and his crew more than lived up to the high bar I set for them! The job was a total renovation of a very large kitchen with quality Kraft Made cabinets, entailing new drawer fronts, and refinishing rather than putting veneer on the cabinets. We had an absolutely fantastic experience with The Cabinet Restoration Company. We had a large kitchen built in 1992 that needed a facelift in Clarksville, MD. The original cabinets were high-end, custom-built, quality cabinetry that didn't really make sense to get rid of completely. So much to share about our experience! We decided to get cabinet doors and drawers replaced and were assured that all drawer fronts would come off easily. Well that wasn’t the case so there was an additional cost that we didn’t anticipate. The mess during the 5 day process was unbelievable. I had to clean up after them every day to be able to just WALK into the kitchen. We had tired maple cabinets that had worn through the light white wash finish around many of the handles. My wife likes these cabinets and the light color so I looked around for a company to refinish them. I am SO pleased with the work that The Cabinet Restoration Company did in our kitchen. Steve was incredible to work with. He was kind, hard-working, a perfectionist and my two-year old loved him. I was so happy with the condition of the space while he was working-he went out of his way to make sure the place stayed as clean and neat as possible given we had two small children in the house. The Cabinet Restoration Company sent a team of two men, Joe and Mark to handle our project. They did a lovely job refinishing our kitchen cabinets. The team was experienced, dedicated and hardworking and paid careful attention to details. Joe is a true craftsman and artist and treated our cabinets as if they were his own. In August I had new cabinet doors and drawer fronts installed and the results were amazing. No refacing done to adjacent areas in order to hold cost down but with Pete, the owner"s help, the match up of whites was perfect. Eugene and Dylan did the installation and they are true craftsmen.I am so happy with the final result which looks like a brand new kitchen so if you want perfection hire this company.
