As Memphis continues to grow Eastward many homeowners and builders are choosing larger wooded lots for their home sites. In fact, many new developments are upwards of 4 acres per home and this can cause a maintenance issue when we are trying to have a natural yet maintained look on our properties. You may need to retrain your drivers. One of your drivers was in such a hurry they felt the need to bright light and tail gate us and others in traffic on I 40. It is dangerous enough driving around here without your unprofessional employees causing a safety issue. Of course I couldn’t get a license plate number because they were driving at least 20 mph over the 65 mph limit.

Whatever you do, DO NOT hire this company. I hired them to LIGHTLY trim my crape myrtles and remove a downed limb. Instead of doing this very simple job, they completely butchered my trees taking 5-10 years worth of growth off of them without my consent. The salesman, JD, agreed that it was bad and they did not do the job I hired them to do. However, the company offered no retribution for the botched job. In addition, they damaged my fence while removing the downed limb. Again, no retribution for the damage and even tried to say the HAD to do it and, thus, it wasn't their fault. Very shady owners

After having no luck getting replies or responses from 2 other firms I had found on Google, a coworker recommended Woodland. I called them and am glad that I did. They responded immediately and a got a detailed quote very shortly after the arborist visited my property. When the crew arrived to perform the work, I decided to expand the scope of work at the last minute. The crew leader responded to this and had additional workers and equipment on site immediately. Both crews who came to our home were professional and courteous. We had GIANT trees removed which could have easily torn up the yard, but didn’t. Limbs are brought down skillfully and never just dropped. They were not the cheapest quote, but the peace of mind having the tree and stump removal in good hands was worth it.

Every time I hire Woodland Tree Service, I'm reminded that they're the best, most efficient tree company in town. I manage an 80 acre arboretum and periodically one of the large trees dies. Woodland does not do cheap service, and if you want cheap you can certainly find it. But if you want excellent customer service, no hassle, and a job performed at top quality, you should call Woodland. Seriously, when they leave the property I manage, it's like they were never there. It's perfect.

A huge tree limb fell on our house. Woodland came right out, determined what they needed to do the removal and their crew showed up the same day. Woodland Tree went above and beyond to cleanup behind themselves after our recent tree trimming. They even went as far as going into a city drainage ditch to retrieve random limbs that fell during the process. I have known other companies to just leave debris behind because cleaning up in those areas is difficult. These guys did it without me even asking them to do it. Great group of guys and very professional. They did a great job trimming the areas that we requested. I'd have no problem at all calling them if I needed their services in the future.

I called Woodland about getting my trees trimmed recently. It was not long after a storm, so they said it might take time to have some one come out for a quote. I wasn't in a hurry so it was ok. Before I got home from work that day, the estimator had already been there and written up a quote, which was emailed to me the next day in a very clear and professional proposal. They were able to schedule me within 2 weeks. The day of the work, I was told they'd be out after lunch. I got a text at 12:15pm saying they'd be there at 12:40. They pulled up at 12:39. The crew was prompt, courteous

I called Woodland tree service on Monday around 2:00pm to get someone to give me an estimate on trimming some tree limbs hanging over my property. The lady who answered the telephone said I would be contacted by JD. Tuesday morning around 9:15 he called my home while I was out and left a message that said for me to call him at my convenience. I had left my home around 8:45 am and I was planning on being home around 2:30 pm in at that time I would have been able to talk to JD about setting up a time to come an give me an estimate. He decided to call me on my cell phone around 1:00pm to 1:30pm
