I don’t normally do reviews, but this is the third time that I have utilized Chets services, and each time it has been a completely exceptional experience. The most recent team of Jimmy and Mike was nothing short of par for the course.
Each time we welcomed a different tech/crew into our home, and each call for service resulted in quality work,… from friendly people, who were efficient and thorough. They always clean up when their work is done, and the prices for their service have always been more than fair.

My wife and I had to do an emergency renovation of our bathroom. Water was squishing under the tile of our 60’s tile bathroom shower and it was a matter of time before we ended up in the basement. With contractors either ghosting us after coming to get an estimate, not returning… calls, or being booked out to 2022 we were forced to have to learn to do this ourselves. I called Chets to help us with installing a shower in what limited space we had and not only did they understand our situation they came over rather quickly

Our experience working with Chet’s was exceptional. Scott G was very thorough, explaining step by step what he recommended, why he recommended it, and was very straightforward about their costs and services they will be providing to us. Scott also went through all of their warranties and the manufacturer rebate available on our furnace and A/C… included on our quote. The quote we received was lower than what we expected, and easy to read, detailing each separate item so we knew exactly what products and services we would be receiving. The turnaround time far exceeded our expectation

Chet's Plumbing did an excellent job for the work I needed on my house. They were timely, efficient, and had great customer service. From talking with them over the phone, receiving an estimate, having the work done, and meeting the person who works the front desk, they took care of all my questions in a professional manner.
Chet's is not the cheapest option, but you receive great quality and a sense of security. I would take that any day.

I called for a quote to clean out my sewer line which had backed up a little in my basement. Receptionist told me $95/hr and should be able to get it done in an hour. While 2 service guys arrived to repair the problem, they had to remove the basement stool to clean the line. I asked the service guy how much to install new valve on toilet while they were here. Guy said about $50 and I OK'd it. They were here a total of 1 hour and 5 minutes. There is a travel charge of $10 to allow for travel time to and from my home according to their service manager. We used Chet's twice: Once to get a brand new water heater and once to check out a leak. I have read mixed reviews about this company. Unfortunately, some of the negative reviews are true. The first time they came by, we had better luck with the service when communicating with the main guy who helped to schedule the appointment. He made sure to call me and collaborated with me to find the best time to come out. He was pleasant. However, that changed when the two repair men (different men) finally came out, I was not home but had someone there to receive them. I was told they were rude and

Our furnace went out on a ridiculously snowy/icy/sleety Thursday in APRIL (gotta love Wisco). After calling another heating plumbing business that never returned my call, I remembered that we had used Chet's Plumbing and Heating for part of our basement project. I called Chet's and my call was answered by Marge, who was very helpful and located a technician that could come out that afternoon. Mike arrived within an hour and after troubleshooting, concluded that I needed a new motor. He located the part and returned within a half hour. My furnace was up and running less that two hours

UPDATE: Moving to 3 stars, was contacted by Chet's and have been informed that there must have been a misunderstanding between the off hours tech and myself because their off hours rate is $160.00 per hour and they need two techs due to safety protocol.
