AWD finished our pool in June 2018 and we have enjoyed it ever since. It's beautiful and we really appreciate all of the hard work they did. The design process was very smooth and so was the initial construction - they did a great job making sure the structural foundation of the pool was correct before proceeding. Like any major construction project, there were hiccups, but AWD did a good job working through these. I would definitely use them again if I ever build another pool.

We started our pool and spa this summer and it was finished in early October, just in time for a few weeks of swimming. We chose Austin Water Designs because their price was competitive with other providers and the pool designer was professional, accommodating, and followed up with us. He didn’t pressure us to make a decision, but stayed in touch on a regular basis. And when the pool was complete, he stopped by with a goody basket full of pool toys.

At a minimum, include these guys in your bidding process. You will see big companies that cookie cutter the process and crank out pools. Mom & Pop companies that have been building pools a long time, but aren't designers. Then you have AWD -- they are pros. We had four bids and they are the only company that used computers to assess the elevation et al.
My wife and I both have advertising/marketing backgrounds so we have been very involved with designers and project managers during our careers.

We have a very tricky lot to put a pool on--steep grade, very rocky, hard to get to. We had three other designers submit designs to us, and no one wanted to build the pool the we wanted--everyone of them tried to convince us to do something else, until we met David at AWD. He designed the pool and outdoor living space of our dreams, and then Mark and Ned and Teresa and the construction crews built it, and it turned out beyond our expectations. To say that it has changed the quality of our lives is a huge understatement. I have recommended AWD to three other friends that are considering building
