The owners were very responsive and friendly, but they do not allow you to take the cars to a mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection which is a huge red flag. It’s a well known thing that you should never get a car from someone that won’t let you get it looked at to know what it needs. They also drive with you on the test drive. I’ve test driven a lot of cars from a lot of places, and this is the first place that I’ve ever found that rides with you and won’t let you get it looked at. Very sketchy and uncomfortable.

WARNING DON'T BUY A CAR HERE!!! Took my teenage daughter to buy her first car. The car ran fine during the test drive, but shortly after we purchased it we had the oil changed and then the engine started to make load noises and it broke down. Makes me wonder if something was added to the engine to make it quiet.. Now my daughter is without a car and all her hard earned money gone. The car only lasted one week.

I really enjoy doing business at this place. It's family-owned. They've been there for over 50 years. And it's still in the same family. That is awesome. The guy he did me a real fair price and you know the thing is that butters Auto sales they don't charge a dealer dock fees. Awesome!!!

I bought a car here which he said was running well, but I came to find out it had a bad oil leak when in 4 days the engine seized. The owner is a very short and grumpy man. I dont recommend.

Not great saw person spraying off engine with power washer suspicious. I went to go look at a car and they wouldn't let me test drive it because someone put a hold on it. But the ad says available. And there was no sign on the car at all.
Would I return here probably not.

Purchased a vehicle form dealership. Was told the vehicle was in good condition and road worthy. Two days later come to find out, all the motor mounts and the transmission mount where broke. Paid 200 under what the asking price of the vehicle was. Now I have $2012.00 in repairs. Got completely played and will NEVER go to this dealership again and recommend anyone who is thinking of going to this dealership to think twice.

I didn't end up buying a car here, so I don't know about car quality, but the owner was incredibly kind and upfront about his policies and the actual price of the car (no extra doc fees).

Jeff at Butters Auto Sales was amazing. I am originally from Utah and currently live in Michigan. I was able to seamlessly purchase a vehicle from a Michigan. He made the process so simple. He went above and beyond in getting the car inspected for me and getting the purchase agreements set up for me.
