Had to find my own plumber to fix the problem, disaster drs came out twice to clean up knowing the problem wasn’t fixed. Then I waited almost a month for them to contact me for repairs. Also said I owed them money for work they never did. Never will I use this company nor will I recommend to anybody.
The crew that did the mitigation was the only professional experience I had with this company.

Our experience with Disaster Doctor's was fantastic! Quick response time, high quality work, and friendly staff. Brady, especially, went above and beyond in helping us understand what we were dealing with and how best to make choices to move forward. Overall a great experience with an otherwise undesirable flood situation. Highly recommend them for any disaster issues you might run into!

I called the night that our basement flooded and talked with Derek. The very next morning he came over and gave an estimate that was better than fair. That afternoon Brady and his crew was there working. Brady’s communication each day and hard work was excellent. I couldn’t be happier with how the whole experience worked out. Caution, our insurance didn’t cover anything because the water damage was caused by the main water line outside the wall.

I am extremely happy with their service. Brady was absolutely amazing. We had a minor flood in our apartment and he helped to get out the water and came back to clean. He did a great job, was a pleasure to chat with, and great at communicating what he was doing. Telling me what the products he used were and that they were safe for my dog and baby before I even had to ask! For a first time mother that is worried about everything this was soooo appreciated! He did a great job and was very professional! Utah needs more workers like Brady!

These guy's were wonderful to work with! They were always on time. They got to work right away. They helped with everything involved. They took pictures for the insurance company and helped with that. 5 stars plus! I Highly recommend them. They were very courteous and quick and did great work. Great follow through! Basement flooded the week before Christmas, due to sewer drain backup and pretty thoroughly soaked the carpet and walls before we discovered it. A mitigation team of three arrived within a couple hours of our phone call, cleared out all affected carpets and sheetrock, set up containment and 6 or 8 dehumidifier and air filter machines. Once mitigation was complete, we used their renovation services to get everything back to it's original condition (with new carpet throughout). Derek was our main contact on the mitigation and was responsive, attentive and thorough. He was extremely helpful

Disaster Doctors did a good job with initial clean up and tear out. Unfortunately, it all went dow the drain after that. They sub out all the renovation and it shows. The drywall was done well but they did no cleanup. We had to clean prior to painting. They invoiced us for a number of items that weren't done nor were they items that were part of the disaster. They did agree to remove these items from the bill but it took several attempts. My suggestion is to use this company for initial clean up but the hire your own contractor for the rebuild

We were concerned that the new home we moved into may have had a mold problem because we kept getting sick. We had a separate company do a mold spore check, and they found that mold spore levels were elevated, so we called the Disaster Doctors to see if they could mitigate the mold problem. Cody came and did a thorough check. He showed me areas of… concern, gave me advice on how I could solve it, and answered all of our questions. He was very honest in letting us know that he didn't think our problem was serious enough to justify paying them 2 to 5 grand for a professional full-scale mold

I strongly recommend against using Disaster Doctors for any home disaster repair. I had a small basement flood in August and contracted with Disaster Doctors for the remediation. They failed to show up for multiple appointments, even when I explained that I had taken time off of work to meet them. They created a lot of additional, unnecessary damage during their "cleanup." When it came time to make the repairs, different workers also failed to show up for multiple appointments and then stopped returning my calls at all. After several weeks, I contacted another company that did the work

If you know me, you know I only write positive reviews for people, but I wanted to give an honest review of our experience. Here we s the shortened version. 1. I think the owners are great people, in a difficult industry with lots of hurdles to overcome. Teague is great to work with, so if you need help, call him. 2. Our situation wasn’t smooth,… there were lots of bumps in the road. We were displaced for over four months on probably a one month job. There wasn’t good communication with our rep, (but he’s no longer with the company,) and there were some errors made with

Dangerous! Everything about our dealing with them has been dangerous, disastrous, deceitful and shady! Drive safely in SLC!
AND it's come to my attention that they may be offering "benefits" for positive professional referrals. Though this is common practice for many businesses, if a professional recommends these guys highly, or at all, please consider their motivation.

The mitigation the Disaster Doctors have done in my house has been completed and now only the repairs and replacement needs to be completed. The workers were great and cleaned up each day after their work was finished. They were efficient, friendly and professional and explained to me after each day of work what had been completed and what was yet to be done. They were efficient, friendly and professional and I would definitely recommend them and give them a 5 star review and 2 thumbs up!

Disaster Doctors assessed my water damage and leaking roof 4/18/2109 after a storm. State Farm Insurance gave me DD number and said they know the insurance standards and work with them.
Disaster Doctors came shared booklets saying they care but I do not feel this ; only the pressure to sign their contracts; it seems their priority is to make claims.
Derek came and said the roof looks like wind damage (roof nails pulled up from shingles)and the water damage in kitchen and bedroom definitely need mitigation with fans/drying
He said I should make an insurance claim despite my high deductible

We recently had our basement flood. Cody at Disaster Doctors took such good care of us and our home. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He would explain the mitigation process in detail and keep us in the loop with every surprise that he found or every little piece of good news. They were willing to work with us when we wanted to do some… of the work ourselves to save a buck or two. Throughout the whole process we had a ton of questions that were answered with patience and confidence. If it wasn't for the whole basement flooding thing this would have been an all-around pleasant experience

Can I tell you why I love Disaster Doctors? One of our bathrooms had a very strong mold smell and I was panicked that somewhere behind the walls we had a leak. They came and investigated and couldn't find anything. They knew I was stressed and probably could've sold me a few holes in the wall and a bunch of costly, messy, unnecessary services...but they didn't. They recommended that I try a couple of things and call back in a couple of days I wanted to do some air-quality testing. They seem like a high-integrity company.

I called Disaster Doctors to help me with the flooding in my basement caused by the Sugarhouse storm. While some people where quoting 2 days for a response to get the feet of water out of my house, Disaster Doctors showed up in about 2 hours. Everything was not perfect with my service, but the minor problems I had were made right by the excellent service from Supervisor Christian. Overall, I was very happy with the service and advice I received.

Our basement was flooded while we were on vacation. When we came home, there was two inches of water through almost the entire basement. All the carpets were ruined, the baseboards had swollen with water, and it was a devastating nightmare. I have never had any sort of "disaster" to deal with, so had no idea what to do. I went on google to find someone to help us with this mess. I researched the top damage specialists that came up, and saw that Disaster Doctor's had rave reviews from previous clients, so I called them. I am SO GRATEFUL I did.
They were absolutely incredible

We woke up to a flooded basement on a Sunday morning. After some searching and finding that Disaster Doctors had good reviews, we called and have been very pleased so far. The showed when they said they would. We have dealt with Frazier, Jason and Carlos. They have all been delightful and have done a great job. The tear-out has been finished, the carpets cleaned and spray to prevent potential mold has been applied. We look forward to working with them for the balance of the project.

They got our basement flood cleaned up and put back together with no hassle whatsoever. Hopefully we won't need to, but if we should have another disaster, no question who we will call.

My water heater had flooded and caused a decent amount of water damage to the vinyl flooring in my laundry room, the wall between that and my bathroom, as well as the vanity in the bathroom. I called Cameron at Disaster Doctors and he was very quick to respond. He was out to my house within 45 minutes to assess the situation. He was very polite, respectful, and informative. He worked quickly once he started the job that same day. He cleaned up the mess very well and I literally had to worry about nothing because he laid everything out up front and stayed in contact with me from beginning to finish

It's never a good day when you wake up to discover your basement has flooded. Being new to the area I wasn't sure who to contact. I came across Disaster Doctors and decided to take a chance. Thankfully, they were very quick to respond and prompt to arrive to assess the situation and see what needed to be done. I only waited approx. 20-30 minutes from the time I called to the time they arrived. They did a thorough assessment of the damage and also were very upfront in discussing whether to file as an insurance claim or not. Overall, it took them approx. 4-5 days to dry everything
