Kats journey began after graduating from Texas A&M with a degree in horticulture and business. After many years of working in the commercial landscape scene she knew there had to be more. With an entrepreneurial spirit and love of her craft, Kat knew her calling was to work with clients who valued a well thought out, unique design.
With a 'need to please' attitude, Kat wanted to offer clients a more personal experience. With her husband, Nick, Kat plans to bring you and your family the joy of a beautifully designed space for many years to come. Nick was raised in the world of buying and selling plants across the country as his father did.
As a second-generation horticultural salesman and California transplant, Nick settled in Houston and obtained a business degree from the University of Houston. Being one of the top salesmen in the industry, his knowledge of plant material and level of customer service is unparalleled. His eye for detail and level of perfectionism during an installation makes our clients know that we are 100% on their side, no matter what it takes.

We recently had our front yard landscape done by Autumn Lane. To say that the work was satisfactory would be an understatement. The front yard looks amazing! Both Katherine and Nick were very detailed and attentive from beginning to end. I LOVED the various detailed drawings provided for the different scenarios that were available to be installed.

I used to think nobody would treat my yard like it was their own. Autumn Lane proved me wrong.
Our front yard was a disaster of poor design, poor drainage, and poor plant selection. As a result, we neglected it, because we didn't love it. We knew we needed professional help, and Autumn Lane saved the day. From the very start, they listened to our dreams for what we had envisioned. Katherine and Nick took plenty of notes, measurements, and pics of the layout we had. After a short wait, we were given several renderings with ideas for layout and plant choices that went from mild to wild.

I found Autumn Lane through some of my neighbors whom had Autumn Lane completely redo their landscaping, which looked beautiful! When I reached out to them, Katherine was extremely quick to respond to my request for a bid. Her mock-up design options were amazing! She gave me several options to choose from, which was super helpful since I do not possess the imagination to see the potential of what she could do to our property. Katherine really has a great ‘eye’ for her craft. You will not be disappointed.

We worked with Katherine from Autumn Lane Outdoors. She designed and installed our front yard landscaping for our house in Garden Oaks (house designed by Ledger and Ladder Studios). She did a great job of interrupting the style I wanted Tuscan "wild and free." Everything grew in nicely and looked exactly how I wanted. I believe she was reasonably priced. Her crew was on time, worked fasted, and cleaned up after they were done. I would recommend Autumn Lane Outdoors and I wouldn't hesitate to use her services again. The pictures below were taken about 4 to 6 weeks after install. We are about 7 months

Katherine, who owns Autumn Lane Outdoor Designs, is a talented landscape designer who transformed our front yard into a unique, beautiful space. After living in our house for 10 years, our builder-planted foliage was overgrown, random and just ugly. Katherine created a stunning plan using my fractured, all-over-the-place vision that came to life beautifully. Some of our irrigation had to be reconfigured and she was able to do that as well. You don't have to worry about a thing when you work with her - her crews are courteous and the job will be done correctly and on time.
