He does a fine job cleaning. His service map shows that I live within his area, but 21 miles away is too far in his opinion. I believe it's really because I have a 12-12 pitch and it's difficult. Otherwise he is polite and does not make a mess.

Stan came out to replace my gas fireplace insert. I have previously called another company and they never showed up after waiting for two days. I was able to set up my appointment with Stan's Fireplace on line. I felt very lucky that I was able to find someone with the following qualities: honesty, dependable, punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. He was very neat and clean with the installation and took time to explain the remote controlled thermostat. Stan and his helper Steve did a great job cleaning and inspecting our fireplace. Will be ha I got them do some additional work replacing damper and glass doors. Also they will clean and inspect our other 2 fireplaces.
They were responsive and professional, I found their internet presence and web communication better than most small businesses.

Stan's is in Fenton, but he goes all over. His team is always very clean and respectful. His prices match his quality and service. You could go with someone a little cheaper...but you will pay a lot more later when low quality turns to bad construction and you have to call Stan to fix it.
