We believe that windows have an integral role in a home's appearance and comfort. We add to this the certainty that value and quality of all of the old windows we work on are worth preserving. We respect the talent and time-tested logic that exudes from each window we work on. Our goal is to honor the original craftsman and the current owner simultaneously.
This is by far the most attractive storm window option and we build them ourselves in our shop in Media. We use solid wood and true mortise and tenon joints. We also have a variety of design options to have them function and look exactly how you want them. We also specialize in building custom wood windows to closely match your historic windows.
Throughout most of their lifetime, your old wood windows need very little maintenance. One of the greatest things about them is that they were built to be maintained and repaired. Nevertheless, after 100+ years some need a bit more attention than basic maintenance. That is when restoration becomes the better option.
We first started out as purely a window restoration company. However, it became apparent very quickly that we cannot have a proper discussion of the values of window restoration without it inevitably leading to a discussion of storm windows. Though the single pane true divided lite windows are pretty, they also are pretty poor when it comes to insulation.
We strongly believe in restoring old windows. Sometimes restoration just isn't an option. Whether a previous owner has already replaced the original windows with awful vinyl, you are adding a window where one did not exist, or the original window is simply beyond saving, we can help you. We are able to build custom wood windows to match any design or style you may have.

Great crew of guys! We had them restore a dozen of our windows and build custom wood storm windows in Wayne. We were blown away by how nice our windows looked! I honestly thought they were brand new they looked that good. At the start we were very unsure about the whole process, but they pointed us to a handful of jobs in the area to look at and we even stopped in the shop to see what they do. From start to finish, everyone was courteous and thoughtful. So glad we did not replace the windows.

My wife owns a 140-year old home at the "Jersey Shore" which we visit almost every weekend and all summer. The windows in the home were a mixture of 140-year-old frames and glass and recent 'replacements'.
