Shout out to all at Airchampion, and especially Ronnie (one of their techs) who assisted us this last weekend.
Power surges (no matter how brief) can and will wreak havoc on your a/c system. I did not know the extent, until a very little "blip" of a surge occurred on Saturday. Not enough to knock off any electronics within the house, it caused the a/c unit to alter the way it was operating.
We noticed temperature in the house begin to climb, even with the outside fan running and air blowing from the vents (although in retrospect I realize that it wasn't truly cold air). Called

Was pleasantly happy when James, from AirChampion came out to diagnose my A/C problem this morning. James was to arrive at 9 am but called to let me know he had to stop along the way because mother nature was calling, but his call was very much appreciated to let me know he was running a few minutes late. This is what you expect a technician to do. Once there, James knew exactly how to go about detecting the problem and before he left me, he assured me that the two installers would be out first thing in the morning to replace my evaporator coil and that he was going by to pickup my new evaporator

Had to replace our A/C system inside and out...not an easy task considering we had to cut through sheetrock to get the system into the attic. Worked with Tim Mull to get the right system chosen and installed. Once that was settled, Tim sent over a team that got the system in place both inside and out. Had to lift the attic system about 10 feet to get it through the sheetrock cut-out and in place...like I said, not an easy task. Tim's team did a great job. Terrible customer service and experience. Almost every time a tech comes through, they have to order additional parts. And they never follow up. You have to constantly bug them to see when their next available tech can come by. It's usually a different tech too, so they have little idea of what is going on. Definitely not using them again.

Our fan stopped working on our air conditioner. They sent someone the next morning and replaced the capacitor on the furnace in the attic. By that evening I noticed the house was getting hot again. The fan was blowing but not cold air. They sent someone else the next day and put two new capacitors on the condenser out side. It all worked for a week. Two weeks later, no cold air again. Made a new appointment for them to return the following day from 1-4.

I suspect that 75% of the time people only write reviews when they are upset about poor service. I try to write a review when I experience good service too. When I went to bed last night my house was a toasty 72 degrees - when I awoke this the morning it was a chilly 53! Both the upstairs and downstairs heaters were on the blink! What are the odds?
