Bought a 2017 Kia Optima and the DARCARS package. I had all my service work done through them as well. They completely missed a serious problem with my engine despite noticing an issue during my last oil change, and did not follow up appropriately. Now I have a 4yo car that I will likely have to get rid of and eat the cost since I am just over warrantly miles. Customer service was less than helpful as they would not cover the cost of a rental car or provide a loaner to give me a reasonable option of having the problem serviced, which would likely take weeks. Never buying a KIA again.

Service department extremely helpful in finding the recall issue i was referring to not when other dealers were not able to and didn't try oversell or invent problems that weren't there. I am currently in the process of suing them. I had a recall on my engine and they told me they couldn’t do anything about it unless my car broke down, the engine starts knocking and/or my engine starts smoking. Basically had to be in danger. Well my car did catch smoke, and I got it towed to Kia. They LIED and said my car had oil and it had absolutely none!!! I still had over $1000 miles left before I got a oil change!!! There is something wrong with the engine!!!!!!!!!! No one is helping me, so I am getting my lawyer involved because I spent way to much money getting it fixed when the recall

I just bought my Kia Telluride at the DARCARS in Lanham! It was such a great experience I don't think I will ever go to another company again! They were so professional and helped me decide on what to get and I felt like I was with family! I visited Darcars Lanham Kia 11 months ago and the service has definitely declined since my recent visit. I understand that we are still in the covid pandemic and that impacts everything so I try not to give harsh reviews accordingly. First, I had an 11:15 am appointment (and I arrived early) for routine maintenance and was told immediately that it would be around 2:30 pm before my car was ready; I actually did not leave until after 3 pm. Our experience with DARCARS Kia of Lanham was extremely disappointing. Do not expect them to figure out anything that is wrong with your car because they will not go the extra effort. We arrived there at 2:00PM for a multi-point inspection and also told the Service Consultant we wanted the car checked out because we were having several issues.

Where do I begin with this place? I had an appointment for 2pm on a Monday. Around 12:30, I get a call saying that I need to bring my car in the morning in order to have an electrical diagnostic done. The sentiment was essentially that this can never be done in the afternoon. Why would someone wait until it was so close to my appointment to tell me that? I traded my car in back in May. Everything was great at first - they were all kind, professional, and worked really hard to get me a loan with terms I could afford.
As soon as I left the lot with my new car, it all went down hill.
These people NEVER filed the paperwork - none of it. They didn't take care of the loan from the car I sold them as they were supposed to; they didn't file paperwork with the DMV; they didn't do anything they were supposed to do to complete the transaction. What they did do was take my old car, turn around and sell

Bought my vehicle here over a year ago. It was easily the least stressful experience I have had with a dealership and the staff pulls out all the stops to make sure you are taken care of and happy. I can't thank Glen, Karl, and Marcus enough for the exceptional service they provided. We were able to leave the lot in the perfect car for our growing family, a Kia Telluride. I was lucky enough to test drive a Stinger with Karl while they were detailing our new Telluride. When you call you will talk to a real person, when you arrive they are waiting for you with the car ready to test drive, and they were extremely accommodating to my two year old. This is probably hands down my favorite place in Lanham! SAMUELLA is the best if the best. She was friendly, kind and patient. She kept it real at all times and encouraged me to buy the car i wanted/needed. I just purchased a 2017 Ford fusion SE and I love every thing about it. Literally my dream car. UPDATE: A year later and I am still dealing with this company and it still is nowhere near good. Still the worst customer service. The transmission went out in my car. I took the car to the dealership as I have been paying for the extended warranty. The dealership called me and informed me there is no record of my name anywhere with this car with extended warranty. They told me it was still registered with the first owner of the car. So for a whole year I have been paying for something that was NEVER registered to my name. Look it's really easy to botch an auto sale and end up with a poor review. Car salespeople for the most part are a different breed. It's a very complex situation for buyers to walk into. Most buyers wouldn't even walk through the doors if they knew what was going on behind the scenes in sales.
