Selection/purchase review.
I like to do a 2 part review so here's part 1 selection purchase process..
Best part of this process is... No pressure shopping, I went in showroom, and was given the room to look at my leisure. So I clearly knew what I wanted (before leaving). Then I scheduled an in home measure appt with John, again another great no pressure visit. He told me to take acouple of days to think about it. Stopped back at store to finalize the contract. Rachel immediately called carpet manufacturer, to check stock and we made our install appt. So easy, so smooth, I'm so happy. I will write

My experience with Hooks could not have gone any better! I am a very straight forward person and want to be told the honest truth when it concerns spending money. That's exactly what I got with John and his salesperson at Hooks. I cannot remember her name but I told her my price range and the style I am going for and she was able to find exactly what I needed. My home is 70 years old, so the base floor is not perfect. However, John worked his magic and visibly you can hardly tell there is any imbalances, as well as barely feeling any imbalances. Would highly recommend and use again in the future

Wow! We went with Hooks Carpet Mart after my father referred me to them. John made us feel right at home when we walked into his business. I can see why I was referred to him! He was more than accommodating and helped us find the right choice for our home. We’re first time home buyers and Roger, James, and Doug laid our carpet in a flash! They took their time and made our home look like perfection. I can tell these guys take pride in their work, and they make sure the job they do is done right. I will always refer this company and it’s employees. Expect quality and professionalism at its highest

I have never, in my life, been told "We won't have anything for you here"... I came in with a rough budget and my square footage. After a quick calculation to be told that outrageous statement and not even attempt to show me anything is so disrespectful. Then to follow it up with "on to the next store then" shows that this person does not care about this business at all. If only she would have showed me something she would have seen I very quickly added another 3k to my budget to get the carpet I liked. I will never recommend this place, and have them possibly subjected to the same disrespectful

I have been using Hook's Carpet Mart for my flooring needs for years. The owner has always been quickly responsive and the work he does is so much better than the work that was just completed for us via an insurance claim. If you want to deal with a company that exudes integrity and will treat you fairly from the quote to the final product, you cannot go wrong with Hooks.

*The carpet installed looks great
*I thought their price was fair
The Bad:
*AWFUL customer service
*Takes no responsibility for actions
I was told it would take one hour to install my carpet, that seemed quick to me so I confirmed with the person on the phone who assured me that an hour was the correct amount of time. Installing the carpet took 4.5 hours and I missed a meeting at work due to the poor time estimate. The owner never returned my call when I called to discuss this with him. I eventually got him when I called back on my own. He didn't understand
