This company came recommended by someone who lives close to me. I called and set up a time for someone to come by and measure my windows so that I could get a quote. They text me 20 minutes after the set appointment and told me I was too far away and they were turning down the job. I took off work an hour early to make sure I was available for the appointment. If I was too far away, which is shocking since the person that referred me was not, then why couldn’t that have been established when they took my address the week before?

I have used this company a number of times, purchasing new replacement windows for my 1927 home. We called Empire midway through a restoration to get a second opinion on 3 windows we were replacing. We had the windows measured by their recommended installer and a firm quote in hand within hours of the initial phone call. Their lead time and pricing beat the competitor’s quote so much so that we decided to replace 2 additional windows.

After literally calling 6 places for pricing on a piece of glass to use as a table top, I chose Empire. Not only were they the first to suggest the tempered glass, the piece of glass I needed was for an outdoor table top project, they also had the best prices by far. And the customer service...second to none. They followed up and had the glass ready before the original pick up date. If you have any glass needs, they have an incredible variety, are super knowledgable and easy to work with. It is a husband and wife business and they are local. ALWAYS pick a small business first. That's my motto.
