Services
Company truck, gas, chemicals and tools are all provided. Applicant needs to have a valid drivers license, have a cellphone to enter data for service stops as well as navigate to service stops and be able to perform light physical work outside, which may include lifting up to 40 lbs. Must be motivated and able to work independently with little supervision.

Don't use this pool company.
We unfortunately, used this companies services for the last three years and they have been truly terrible. We have gotten nothing but poor service, rude employees and lies from this company. You would be better off handling your pool yourself.
Very happy to have left this pool service, we got our pool totally clean from the awful green state SD Poolworks left it in.

I don't understand the negative reviews here. We switched to SD Poolworks based on interviewing Sven. During that interview, he diagnosed several areas where our prior pool company had been short-changing us.
We have a salt water pool, and the other company had let the salt level get so low that it wasn't functioning as a salt water pool. They were using chlorine instead, because that's easier to maintain (i.e., it seems they were being lazy and hoping we wouldn't notice). Sven fixed this, and our pool has been much nicer since (~3 months in).

I hired them to take care of my pool about a month ago. I think I finally found a service I can rely on. You can tell they know their stuff. They respond super quick and always have an answer for me.
Very affordable and transparent pricing too. My pool has never looked better. I would highly recommend them.

I have been with this company for almost 2 years. I never wrote a review and I have a very high tolerance. I gave up on this company because of bad service. I called them yesterday to inform them that they need to do a better job otherwise I'm switching my service. They lady who answered the phone did not care. She wanted to cancel me immediately!

Find someone else. I would be embarrassed and ashamed to associate myself with this company. There is no communication. They didn't come for an entire month, and when I finally reached out to them, they offered me 2 weeks of service free. What? No; you did not provide a service for 4 weeks, so I will not be paying you for 4 weeks. Last week the technician came a day early without telling me, and left a "sorry we missed you" note. These guys are fantastic. We have been using them as our pool service since last summer and they are super professional, never overcharge and reliable. Our pool always looks great and if we have a question we always get a response the same day.
Try them, they are definitely a step above all the other services.

I had service with them for less than 6 months. They charge me for every month additional for services and was not done. I paid 400 for spa and another $174 to get the heater on, it was still not working. When I discussed the issue they were rude and ask to cancel my service.
I don’t recommend them to anyone.

Unfortunately working with this company has been such a bad experience. Firstly, the guy they send out to do our house comes to the back with his headphones on dancing around our pool, which by the way would be awesome if he did a good job, but he has no pride or care in his work. Leaves our pool dirty almost every time. When owner has come out to fix things the work was good. But that isn't who maintains our pool. Right now we have a green pool for the 4th time. This time the owner says it's because we were late on our bill (that we never received) so they stopped service. However, they

Horrible company I don't recommend them. They lie about servicing our pool every time I call the company they said our guy was there on this day at this time all a lie lie lie I have severity cameras I went back to check and nothing the tec was coming in once a month and our contract was once a week and didn't do a great job at cleaning the pool. The first visit the did an amazing job once we signed up nothing as promised. Take my advice and find someone else

SD Poolworks has been servicing our pool for about 2 years now. Prior to them we had to change services frequently because most are a bit shady.
These guys are reliable and professional though. If anything comes up they respond quickly and take care of everything. Rates are very affordable too. I rarely write reviews, but this is the best pool service in my experience. Do yourself a favor and try them.

When we purchased our home we decided to keep the original pool service that the previous owners had been using. But after a few good months we started noticing the deterioration in our pool. Especially the way it looked. There was a tag system used and every time they serviced (once a week) they wrote the date. We then noticed that they were writing dates into the future. They would sign off on several weeks to come even though it was weeks away. We decided to talk to the owner, because maybe he didn

Found SD Poolworks through a friend of mine and decided to give them a call. I have had them for over a year now and I am totally happy with their service. Very affordable too. Never got around to leaving a review, but after my outstanding experience with them today, it had to be done.
Whenever we needed something or had any concerns, I would email Sven (owner) and he would respond within a few days, the latest, if not within the same day to help us.
