Once again, Chabert Plumbing answered our needs right away. They remembered us even though it's been 6 months since we called on them and I think they must have a lot of customers.
If you go to the company's website, you might be a little intimidated if all you need is help with leaky pipes or toilets. They focus on large jobs on their homepage, and I hesitated before calling them to replace our water heater after the winter storm last February.
I am so glad that I called them. They came out and gave us hot water in just a couple of days. Recently we called on them again to fix the drain

Used Chabert for a pipe repair job. Customer service was awesome. Kimberly in the office was prompt and answered all my questions. Pete was able to come out for an estimate within an hour of my initial call. He offered different options to fit within our budget. The team that came out to do the work was timely, cleaned up after themselves and communicated along the way. Chabert ended up being the most cost effective and quick option - we're so glad we used them and would happily use them again in the future.

Very friendly, professional staff! I called with my plumbing issue and was able to have someone out later the same day. I liked that they wore masks for my safety and theirs as well. They communicated the issue and what it would take to fix it. If I run into more plumbing issues in the future I will be using them again!

We had a small issue with some miscommunication between folks involved on the job, and I wasn't thrilled with the outcome. But I am sincerely BLOWN AWAY at the quality of customer service. They more than made it right, and it is clear this company cares about customer satisfaction.
I never expected such customer service from a plumbing company...my perception was tainted by past bad experiences with other companies

Had a bad water stain in my ceiling. Called Chabert plumbing based on the reviews here on Yelp. They were responsive and came in to do a diagnostic, but they diagnosed the wrong problem! They tested "everything" and found no leak. The cut open a hole in my ceiling for further investigation, and said there's a pipe that was "improperly fixed" before. Personally, I'm very skeptical about these things, because I'm no expert, so someone telling me an old problem from which no water was leaking was the problem made me very unsure.

Completely disappointed. I wanted to believe my fellow Yelpers...and I've been patient trying to hear back from these guys....but what a FAIL. It's been about 4-5 days playing phone tag with the brothers on getting an estimate for a commercial job.
1. Thursday morning I called asked to get an estimate and time and day when they could check out the place. They said they would call to confirm a time on Friday to check. (Never called back on Thursday when they said they would) (First sign of lack of keeping their word)

One of my tenants was having major plumbing issues so I found this plumber on Yelp so he could check out the place. Not only did he actually show up on time but he was also very affordable and flexible. He understood my situation and that the tenants themselves would not be paying, so he took the liberty of e-mailing me the invoice which I could later mail in.

Yelp is a help once again.
I'm home from vacation for less than 12 hours when my garbage disposal dislodges itself from its flanges and crashes under the sink with an alarming THUD. That thing is heavy and was a pain in the butt to install; I knew I needed the help of a pro.
So. . . Chabert Plumbing has all these enviable Yelp reviews. I call and leave a message. Paul returns my call promptly and is out at my house two hours later. Problem is fixed in a jiffy and I'm charged a reasonable price for his trouble.
I will definitely be calling these guys again when and if I need to

I needed a plumber to fix a pressure valve on my hot water heater. I fired up Yelp to find someone that could help me as quickly as possible. I found a review for Chabert that said "of all the people I called these were the only plumbers to call me back" and that iced it for me.
I called Chabert, spoke to Paul, and they made an appointment to come out later that afternoon. They fixed my issue in about 15 minutes and the cost was very reasonable.

They arrived promptly and inspected my hot water heater. They gave me the choice of replacing the element or replacing the entire heater. Given the age of the heater, I decided to replace it.
These guys left my house, picked up the parts and arrived at 8:00 am the next morning to replace the heater. They were very pleasant to work with, answered all my questions about tank versus tankless heaters and in the end, left the final

If anyone notices the date, which will no doubt go down in infamy as the most ridiculous snow day in Austin history, today was a day where everyone flipped out over the snopocalypse of 2011. As luck would have it, it would be the day my pipe froze and burst.
Many offices and all schools were closed. I called Paul in the morning with my problem and he was at my house the same day, in a matter of 10 minutes from the time and called me to say he was on his way. He fixed my pipe problem, insulated

These guys were soooo wonderful. My sewer line collapsed at a rental property of mine, which really interrupted my tenants lives, Paul was out there looking at the situation within an hour of my calling in on Monday morning. He gave me a great price, he kept me & my tenants posted on progress, finished the work within 1.5 days because they worked such a long day the first day & were out there early the next day to finish. They put everything back the way it was: 2 fences & a raised garden bed. The whole crew was so nice & friendly. I really appreciated their customer service

Absolutely the best plumber in town! After having several "fixed price" estimates and several estimates from less than reputable plumbers, Pete came out, quoted me a price, and had the job done inside of two days! This was spectacular, considering he replaced fully half of my sewer line! Rather than quote me a price to simply repair the break under my home's slab, Pete replaced the line with a new one for less than others quoted just to go in and fix the one spot! I will definitely be calling Pete again (probably sooner than later, I have to get my ice maker plumbed in!) for plumbing

Pete is honest, dependable, and does excellent work. I hired him to do extensive plumbing repairs on a mid-century house I bought. Pete and Jon are skilled plumbers, but more importantly they're conscientious. Took the time to work with us to find the cheapest way to arrange our plumbing in our commercial space.
I had what I thought was a leak shortly afterwards, they came out to fix it and found it was a backed up HVAC - not something they worked on - and didn't even charge us for the visit.
