If you have small children, warn them of the potential dangers of a construction site and always supervise them on the site. Plan for the disruptions remodeling may have on your family, pets, services and deliveries. Please let us know of any special needs or concerns and we will do everything we can to make your project a pleasant experience.
A TWH proposal will include a written payment schedule for your project within the contract documents. Payments will be based on the progress of work. A typical addition, for example, will include a 10% deposit with the signed contract, a 25% payment after the foundation footing inspection, another 25% after plumbing or electrical rough-ins, a 30% draw after the drywall is hung and a final payment of 10% upon completion of the job.
I really need to update this part of the site more often! Since my last update, we have kept busy with an assortment of kitchens, baths, and lots of smaller remodel and repair projects. Unfortunately, we have also had our share of storm damage repairs. It continues to amaze me how strong a house (especially in Holmes Run Acres) can be when mother nature lets loose.
