Los Altos Pool Service was formed to better serve our customers in Los Altos and Los Altos Hills. We have operated under the name Accurate Pool Care for the past 12 years. At Los Altos Pool Service, we will only service customers from Los Altos and Los Altos Hills. Additionally, being based in Los Altos will give us a unique opportunity to focus our business on meeting our customers' expectations and needs.

He was not only the first one to respond from your list of three (one of whom I had encountered before and the 3rd one didn't even bother responding) but Greg came to diagnose (and rectify) my problem even though he had had knee surgery that very week!
Our pool was green. He came quickly and then rechecked after his initial treatment for the algae to make sure all was well. He was very reasonable, also. Much better than our advice from Leslie's or earlier pool people we've had. Greg arrived at our appointed time and gave me a very fair weekly service price.

We test and chemically treat the water weekly. We use a combination of liquid chlorine and chlorine or bromine tablets to keep your water crystal clear. We also service pools with salt chlorinators. We perform new pool start ups and start ups after water changes of pool and spas. This service includes chemically balancing the water and brushing of the pool or spa if necessary.

Greg's straightforward honest approach was welcome from the start. Our other pool service company when asked about fixing a recurring problem of the pool equipment blowing the circuit breaker provided a $2000 estimate to "rip and replace" (their words") the "faulty" equipment. With the pool being less than eight years old this seemed high. Seeking a competitive bid, I found Los Alto Pool Service and hadGreg over to look the equipment yielded his recommended approach which identified the oxidization component as the culprit (note this component wasn't even identified

Not sure what the problem is but this business is totally unresponsive, I wasted over a week calling and leaving messages and submitting email requests on their web site and never once got a response. I can only assume they are perhaps out of town for the holidays,or sick and unable to respond or whatever? No matter I moved on and found someone else that was prompt and professional and they will be getting the job which was a rather large and costly repair. It pays to be available for customers when needed.

We were recently in need of assistance with our pool and Los Altos Pool Service was able to help on short notice. Greg was extremely professional and very knowledgeable. The pool is now back on track and we are thankful for the help he provided. They provide weekly and monthly services that are very reasonable. Five stars!
