Drew is a graduate of The Ohio State University, with a Bachelors of Science in Landscape Architecture, and a minor in Landscape Horticulture. He has over a decade of professional design and construction experience throughout Northeast Ohio and Denver, Colorado. Drew has extensive experience with creating xeric landscape and low impact design.

Drew was great to work with. Always let me know when he was going to be there and showed up when he said he would. My back yard was dirt and weeds and the front was full of bushes. The back was scraped, new sprinkler system, grass and flower beds. In the front bushes were removed and flower beds created. Did exactly what I asked for and then some. I asked for trellises and I got way more than I expected. The neighbors even comment on them. Asked for a raspberry fence and got a great raspberry cage. Very happy with the results. Highly recommended.

Drew and his crew did a fabulous job creating an outdoor oasis in my back yard and converting my sloped front yard to a rock garden. They installed a water feature, pergola, and irrigation system. Drew is very knowledgeable about plants that are appropriate for Colorado’s climate; he created a design that gives me color through the seasons. Best of all, the plantings have withstood the test of time and filled in quickly after a few short years. I couldn’t be happier with the results!

Drew and his team at Down to Earth Designs did an amazing job with our odd shaped yard ( triangle shaped and multitiered) . Drew came up with a design and worked with us to make it ours and within a set budget. He took the time to answer all our questions and explain where the project was daily. Drew was a pleasure to work with. My husband and i met with a few companies, but decided on Drew's because he was easy to talk to and i felt he took the time to listen to what we were looking for as clients. He was able to explain to us the differed options we could use for our patio/ plants and how best we could incorporate the ideas we had for our yard. I am so pleased with the way everything turned out. I can't wait to enjoy the warm weather again on the patio while watching the plants and flowers fill in!

As with Jimmy Louthan's experiences with Down To Earth Designs, our experience could have been better. Once the job was underway, things felt rushed and our concerns and questions seemed like annoyances. While the patio itself looks great, the finish around the existing concrete caissons is inconsistent, just plain ugly, and will now require corrections with additional expense. Their haste to quickly complete the project speaks to their lack of attention to the details which so adversely affected the finished product. This is not what anyone should expect from a professional. We would never recommend

Drew came down to the property for the estimate meeting, listened to what had in mind and made a few helpful suggestions. At Down to Earth Designs they do both design and installation work.
No matter who you use, landscaping is not inexpensive. But Down to Earth Designs bid was reasonable and in-line with the other bids we received. The bid was very detailed and professional and included a design plan as well. We dialed in the plans before he sent us a contact and final
