Locally owned and operated Tokay Glass Company has been providing its services to the San Joaquin County area for over 54 years. Originally Richard Shively opened the company in 1957. Since then his son, Loren Shively, and his partner Frank Budesa, have taken over the business. Between the two of them, they have over 65 years experience in the glass business.
Whether you are looking for replacement windows for your home or windows for new construction, we can provide and install them. We carry Milgard Windows, one of the largest and most trusted names in windows and doors. Milgard sets very high production and quality standards. All of Milgard windows come with Milgard's Lifetime Warranty.
Did a great job, and found a different way to do the project that saved me a hugh amount of money! They recently helped me restore some windows that had moisture contained within the panes of glass. The cost to repair the windows was significantly less than replacing the window. The windows look great and the worker was super friendly and helpful.

We have two shower door enclosures that were installed by Tokay Glass five years ago. We needed to replace the molding on one of the doors. Frank, the owner was very responsive, communicative, and came to replace the molding wIthin 48 hours. Great customer service and quality products. Highly recommend!

The woman working here acts like you are annoying her and she has no time for you. She has no idea about mirror insulation and gets annoyed if you ask a single question. I first called her in the morning and she was super cranky but gave her the benefit of the doubt that maybe it was early (8 am). Then I head there and she's rude in person. So, I left. I go home and ask my husband to go because maybe she just hates woman lol. He goes and she's snappy with him (he used another word that rhymes with itch) so he went to CALIFORNIA GLASS where they treated him like a human and answered all

Went to Tokay Glass for a window issue. Frank was honest and told me they were super booked and could not come out to look at it for about a month. Frank took the time to show me how to remove the window so I could bring it in which I did the following day. Within a few hours the window was fixed. Not only did I not have to wait a month for an appointment, it also saved me about $150 by bringing it in myself. Great service and great people!

Not sure how I'm to feel about Tokay Glass Co. at this point in time. When they first installed our window in May 2017, they were great in all areas. However, when I called the Office on July 9th to ask for someone to come by as our window is deteriorating, I was told they were "very busy" and would get someone out as soon as possible. Fast forward to August 3rd, 2020, when I called again, speaking to "Susie" who again told me they were "super busy" and would get someone out to look at it and that "a hashtag has been written up." Frank came over last week and was quick, kind and super efficient. It was like having family over! He was very friendly and really knows his stuff. He had everything he needed on his truck and jumped out of his truck and got right to work. It was a pleasure doing business with him and although I have no idea how the front window in my house got broken, they were the best quote, not run-around and showed up when they said they would and did a great job! I hired Tokay Glass to install 21 new windows in my house. I got 3 quotes and they were the best price for what I wanted. They are a Milgard dealer and I selected the Tuscany windows. The experience was outstanding from the very beginning. Every employee was professional and detail oriented. From the time I ordered the windows until they were installed they kept me updated. Now that the windows are installed my house looks amazing.

I called to have someone come out and give us a quote on a glass door. The 1st phone call we were told that 2 people had to come out and someone would call us to make an appointment. A week later we didn't hear back from anyone so we called again. We were told that everyone was sick that week and to call back the next week to make an appointment. The 3rd time we called we were told the do not work after 3pm (something that was brought up during the 2nd phone call but nothing was said about working after 3pm). The 4th time we had a few days off and were able to schedule an appointment

Excellent - from the phone call asking for service to them cleaning up everything thoroughly! My dog stuck his nose thru a front window and I called the 2 companies in town. The other folks were 2 weeks out. Tokay glass sald next day. Their guys called me and said they had an early time and came right over. Took them maybe 20 minutes (woulda taken me all day). Professional, polite, and thorough. Hope I don't need to call them again soon - but if I do need glass - they are my go to company. In this day and age of bad customer service - these people were top notch!!

Very poor customer service. When I asked them to take good care of my brand new painted doors that I had to leave there for glass installation, Loren said, "If you're that worried you should go home and get towels to protect them because who knows in here." What? Why would anyone leave anything there? It isn't clean. It's rundown and I did not feel comfortable having them do the work. I went to California Glass on Kettleman. They took proper care of my doors for me, carried them in and out. And, they were about $50 less and look amazing!

I had them come and install a new shower door. Out of three bids they were the first to call me back with a solid price rather than an approximate cost. Lauren followed up on his bid a few days later.
The install crew was kind and efficient. I felt safe being home alone as a young woman. They went above and beyond their duties helping me pry open windows throughout the ENTIRE house when I realized the painter who came a few days before had painted my windows shut.
My shower door looks great and hung level. Made my bathroom look new.

Went in to get an estimate on windows, an older gentlemen talked to me and as soon as he found out I had gotten 2 other estimates he said he wouldn't even bother with giving me a quote as he was to busy. I ALWAYS get 3 estimates on a job that is going to be over 5 thousand dollars!! Extremely poor customer service, don't waist ur time here spend it and ur money elsewhere!!

Our house was broken into and the window above the kitchen sink smashed. Not only did Frank from Tokay make the whole experience smooth and as painless as possible, the price was decent and the service was fast. I highly recommend this business.
