Services
We have high standards for employees-We do not use any subcontract or day labor and we do not provide our labor to other moving companies. We value our employees and we are a certified member of the Orange County Living Wage program. We do not do out-of-state moves, however we can help with alternative and more cost efficient solutions or recommend a trusted mover who will be glad to help.
In-house moving- we can do the smallest of jobs whether rearranging the furniture or preparing for a home renovation or remodel. Antiques- our experienced movers have a keen eye for special pieces and an extensive knowledge of how to best handle various antiques. We offer climate-controlled storage in our secure warehouse facility to our moving customers.
You can pick supplies up at our office located at 7401 Rex Rd, Unit 104, Chapel Hill, NC 27516. You will need to call ahead to make an appointment as we are in and out of the office quite a bit. If you have already booked a move with us, we will deliver supplies to your home so that you can start packing right away!
Our estimating system provides us with all of the pertinent information we need and will allow us to begin the process of generating a cost estimate for your specific moving needs. Once we have received a completed form, we will be in touch with next steps. You can also call our office to speak directly with a representative or email us with specific questions or just to introduce yourself.

I have nothing but good things to say about the CH Moving Co and its employees. I was referred to them by friends who have very high standards and they did not disappoint! They were responsive to my inquiry about my move and set things up in a timely fashion. The quote they gave me was very accurate and reasonable. Chris and Caleb arrived right on time and were personable and efficient. They took great care with my things and also assisted with some assembly. Moving is always stressful, but this experience was one of the best that I have had. Thank you again!!

I hired Chapel Hill Moving Co to help with my daughter's move from Durham to St Louis. The timing had to be perfect because she left work that Friday late morning and had to start work in St Louis Monday AM. We had to get to Nashville to pick up additional items en route to St Louis. These professional and friendly movers arrived early with more equipment than they actually needed and loaded our truck perfectly and efficiently. We didn't see one dented or shifted box upon arrival in St Louis. Not even a scratch on any of our belongings. I've moved a lot. These guys are on the top of my good experience

I had a wonderful experience with this moving company. Everything went smoothly! The employees worked fast and efficiently. They wore masks and were friendly and professional. The price was extremely reasonable. I'm not sure if people usually tip movers, but I certainly did!!!

My hero's! Last week the Chapel Hill Moving crew was moving my neighbor. My daughter asked for their help because I had fallen and could not make it to the car to go the the hospital.( Turns out I broke my kneecap) Two young men came to my rescue, helping me to the car. Five hours later we arrived back at home and these young men came back to check on me. They refused money for their help.

Ethan and his team, Parker and everyone at CHMC is outstanding! They have exceeded my expectations on multiple occasions, from estimates to move out to storage and move in. My move out day was stressful, to say the least. They came in with smiles on their faces and made one of my worst days simple and easy when it came to move out. I have hired Chapel Hill Moving Company twice now & have been incredibly pleased both times. They arrive on time & get right to work. They are efficient, but take the time needed to make sure that our furniture, the walls, & the floor are protected. Every member of their team is friendly, courteous, & easy to work with. We have moved many times and Chapel Hill Moving Company is by far the best company we've every worked with. From the first phone call to the last furniture adjustment, these guys are professional, organized, friendly and competent. They brought supplies ahead of times per my often changing requests. They arrived on time. They were extremely careful moving our goods. I could not recommend them more enthusiastically.
