Frank's Fences

I scheduled an appointment for a fence quote after seeing so many positive reviews for Frank's Fences on Next-door website. I called late on a Friday afternoon & I was pleasantly surprised when Frank answered. We scheduled an appointment for the following Tuesday afternoon w/ Frank committing to place a reminder call in advance of the scheduled appointment.

Tuesday arrived but I didn't get the promised phone call BUT Frank did show up & we discussed what I wanted. Told him I wanted either chain link or aluminum after he tore out my existing wood fence. He got an aluminum fencing

I would recommend Frank's Fences as the #1 team to do any metro Detroit fence. Top quality work, friendly service and long lasting follow up if needed. They are fast, easy to work with, reliable and very competitively priced. Wish I had this to say about all the contractors/workers but they set the bar!

We had Frank come out to replace a fence. He was very professional, responsive, and reasonable. The quality of his work is beautiful and overall we are very happy with his work. Would definitely use him again in the future.

The next door neighbor and I used Franks. I had an aluminum black gate and small run of fence installed. The team was quick and friendly. When we ordered told me 3-4 weeks to get the material and install. And guess what? Was 3 weeks and he installed in a couple hours on Saturday. Gate looks good and now the dog can't escape!! Frank and his team just finished our wood fence and we couldn't be happier with the results. Very competitive pricing and a great crew that built us a beautiful custom fence. Would highly recommend!

He gets 1 star for showing up for the estimate and seeming like a nice guy. Common theme repeats itself with him disappearing and never responding to our emails. Very disappointing.

Frank's Fences is the best! Had a gate and small section of fence replaced, which had to be custom built. Frank was communicative throughout the entire process and came to install as soon as the gate was finished. Very professional, great workmanship, fair pricing! I think the pictures speak for themselves!

Frank was personable, fair, and did an excellent job. I had three fence posts that required to be excavated from concrete and reset, and then the fence had to be put back together once the new concrete was poured. He worked with ACG Concrete Inc. to complete the job. I would hire him again and I recommend him.

Frank put up a beautiful fence at my house in less than a day. Hauled away the old fence and even consulted us on how to install the fence so it look the best. His price was less than half of the other big fence companies or big box store installers. Plus he made the boards himself, and didn't buy the pre-fab ones from the hardware store.

Communication was a breeze. Set everything up via text and now we have a great fence. He even replaced my neighbors broken fence on the fly, on the same day. Everything was done by the time I got home from work.

I spoke with and texted with Frank over the past week desperately wanting someone to install a fence for our new home. At first, he seemed happy to do the job. Said several times he'd come and take a look. Suggested different options for us - yet, frank never showed up. In fact, frank stopped returning my phone calls and texts. Hmm. You seem a bit sketchy, frank.
You must not need the business!

Frank and his crew did a beautiful, custom privacy fence for me. They were such a polite and great team to work with. Their craftsmanship was top notch. I have gotten so many compliments. Frank has stood by his work and has offered to check on the fence whenever I have a concern or to just inspect it for any maintenance it may need. It's been 3 years and it's still beautiful.

Missed 2 appointments to give me an estimate. Never called. Guess he doesn't want my business.

I called Frank and scheduled an appointment for the following Sunday. He arrived as planned an promptly started working. I added a few things that weren't previously discussed and he accommodated me with no issues, even though it meant hand digging several more holes. He and his nephew were knowledgable, efficient, and concerned about my satisfaction. He even repaired some deck boards that popped up due to the builders negligence. Great guy to work with, great customer service. Highly recommend.

Reviews say when he puts up a fence, it's great and affordable. But if you call and he doesn't return phone calls; or when you talk to him he seems uninterested in your job because it's a small front yard fence; or when you make two appointments and he fails to show-then he's not great. I do not recommend calling him unless you live nearby in Livonia maybe or have a huge outdoor project for him in the Detroit area. But don't bother if it's small or outside Detroit. Or maybe he's too busy that he doesn't need to return calls or keep appointments.

Had an appointment scheduled. Never showed up and never called. I guess their time is more important then mine. Will find someone that actually wants business.

Called several times to schedule estimates. Contractor constantly said they would be by - never showed up. Do not recommend.
