American Chimney Service was established by Robert Brancaccio to service the chimney needs for residential and commercial clients in Northern New Jersey and New York. He started out almost 2 decades ago as a summer employee, and within 2 years ended up running the company. Mr. Brancaccio introduced the concepts of professionalism and customer service to his former company, and later to his own.
Fireplace, wood-burning stoves, gas or oil heating appliances all contribute to dirty chimneys. Burning wood produces a black, sticky combustible. A safe, compliant chimney lining is mandated in most fire codes as a result of extensive testing by the National Bureau of Standards (NBS) to address. Until very recently, expert inspection and evaluation of fireplaces, stoves or other venting systems were left up to the discretion of chimney.
