Walsh Chimney
According to NFPA Code 211 all chimneys shall have a flue liner that can contain and exhaust all by products of combustion including heat, dangerous gases, creosote and condensation. When the bricks face starts to flake off or "spall" the proper recommended repair is to rebuild the chimney. Rebuilding the chimney consists of the dismantling of the chimney brick work and relaying new brick with masonry cement.

Chimney Sweeping services includes the sweeping of the cap, flue, smoke chamber, smoke shelf, damper, and firebox area. Chimney cleaning is all done with brushes on fiberglass poles. Walsh Chimney is a full service chimney company that services all of New Jersey. We have Immediate Mobile Response Units standing by throughout New Jersey to serve you as quickly as possible.

Our goal is to provide you the quality service and satisfaction you deserve by providing quality workmanship, honest and expert analysis on your chimney and most of all a fair and competitive price on any of your chimney needs including sweeping, cleaning, repair and more.
Services
We personally visit your home and inspect your chimney from the inside out and only then do we provide you with an accurate, honest and fair cost estimate. We never mislead our customers with low estimates to get the project only to surprise you at the end with a different price. Upon being hired for the job we'll schedule a day for the work to be done.
According to NFPA Code 211 all chimneys shall have a flue liner that can contain and exhaust all by products of combustion including heat, dangerous gases, creosote and condensation. When the flue liner can no longer perform this intended purpose it shall be repaired or replaced. In most instances this is accomplished by using a metal pipe inserted from the top of the chimney down to the appliances.

A runner is laid down up to the fireplace as well as drop cloths so nothing is tracked on any carpeting at all. The heart of the chimney sweeping system is a chimney vacuum running during the sweeping for proper dust control.
I contracted with your company to have my chimney re-pointed and waterproofed. The two of your men arrived on Saturday and took the time to personally inform me what activities they would be performing. Throughout the project I would stop to speak with them in order to check on their progress. They were always very informative, courteous and professional.

Came on time and day as planned which is important to me. Covered floors etc. Cleaned chimneys without any sooty mess anywhere. Even gave my stove glass a quick polish. Very pleasant to deal with. Highly recommended. Also can do most household maintenance etc. Coming back at a later date to brick up fire back. We'll worth the money for peace of mind.

Excellent quality service. My chimney was a mess in a hundred year old house. Frank Walsh quoted me a fair price and the crew did excellent work on a job that was very difficult. They wore masks for covid safety and cleaned up and were polite and courteous. Highly recommended. These guys know what they are doing!!!

Excellent quality service. My chimney was a mess in a hundred year old house. Frank Walsh quoted me a fair price and the crew did excellent work on a job that was very difficult. They had to removed four layers of a section of brick work, reline my chimney, seal the top and close the opening. The crew lead by Keith McNally wore masks for covid safety and cleaned up and were polite and courteous. Highly recommended. These guys know what they are doing!!!

Walsh Chimney did a wonderful job re-lining, cleaning, fixing, and sealing our chimney on Sunday. The two chimney professionals worked long hours tirelessly to get the job done the right way. This is a very honest company that will quote reasonable prices and not look for ways to increase the price once on the job. I highly recommend their services.

Did an excellent job repairing our chimney damaged by a lightning hit. Frank Walsh and his crew absolutely excellent. Gave a fair price to repair the damage and worked with our insurance adjuster. Workers arrived early in the morning and finished late in the evening. Respectful of our property inside and outside the house. Matched brickwork beautifully. Put everything back in place when the job was completed--even scrubbed our front steps. Highly recommend Walsh Chimney.

We needed repair work on our chimney to fix loose brick and mortar at the top. I had several contractors come in and provide estimates on the work and settled on Walsh Contractors from Palisades Park. The company was family owned and had a clean record with the BBB. The owner made the pitch - their bid was competitive, quality of materials used was good and he explained exactly what was needed.

While described as a family company, it was a group of Eastern Europeans who did the work. The job was done in one day but the finished product was very sloppy. After complaining Mr. Walsh got back
