We are a CSIA CERTIFIED sweep and we are also a member of the National Chimney Sweep Guild. Bill Bickel is fully insured and well known throughout the county for his honesty and integrity.

We do NOT solicit because our best advertisement is a referral from a satisfied customer. That is why 45 years of on hand experience is so valuable. Knowledge of your town's fire codes, building codes, and most of all gas appliances codes is a must.

A. No! Most oil companies' service contract only maintain the boiler and the connecting pipes. That is their expertise. Chimneys are ours. A. Yes! Gas is a clean heat, but just like us, chimneys age. Chimneys are usually clay tile lined in sections. In time, these sections can crack, separate, and become deteriorated.

Did you know that it's good luck to see a chimney sweep on your wedding day, and most especially to shake his hand or be kissed by him? It is also considered good luck to touch a chimney sweep particularly early in the morning and to be greeted by a chimney sweep carrying a pig on New Year's Day.
