Flue Tech was incredibly processional from start to finish for our residential flue liner installation. The individual who performed the work was tidy and efficient and left chimney ventilation work looking much better than before they came out. Jay, Kristen, and the rest of the staff are courteous and extremely down to earth. I will recommend them to everyone and anyone I come across that mentions needing a recommendation for a chimney/fireplace company!

My chimney exterior was in need of repair and was not venting properly and stucco was crumbling. The Flue Tech team did a great job assessing my chimney repair and recommended multiple options. They were open to discussing which fit within my budget based on what the needs of the repair were. Stucco was removed, cinderblocks were patched and new stucco was installed along with an additional flue tile and damper.
Mike and Javier were very thorough, cleaned up leaving no trace of any work each day, and the chimney works as intended!

Scheduled fireplace insert three times over 6 months. First time canceled due to emergency. Second time canceled same day because did not have the insert (so scheduled work twice without actually having insert)..Today, scheduled for after 2 PM work. No show. No call. No response. If they happen to come, will update review
Currently, Flue Tech appears to be just a big joke. Would not trust them to clean my floor, much less fix something that could burn your home down.

I wouldn't recommend this company unless you enjoy getting the run around. Booked our appointment on November 26th, they charged us half the amount for supplies and scheduled us for December 16th. The techs worked from 10 until 2 and said they had to leave but they'd be back later to install one more part to our chimney., which they left in my living room. They never came back. And they charged my credit card the full quoted price instead of the balance! I spent the following day freezing from the draft coming from my fireplace and calling fluetech repeatedly where I was told they couldn

Stellar performance for a fireplace company . They offer full service treatment from gas inserts to complete chimney overhauls. The management are knowledgeable kind and courteous . They have state of the art equipment to reline your flues or just a simple addition of a chimney cap.
They can solve your back draft problems with a remote control chimney fan. Call them for an estimate or a cleaning you wont be disappointed.

This was the first time I used Flue Tech for chimney cleaning service and I couldn't have been more pleased. They showed up right on time, were in and out in less than 30 minutes and didn't try to oversell me (we often hear about chimney companies trying to convince customers they need a new chimney liner, etc). I had some questions about my fireplace ranging from how to create a better draft to changing my mantel. Nick was very knowledgeable and provided me with great ideas for enhancements. Flue Tech will continue to be company of choice going forward for anything fireplace related

Very pleasant employees. They even put socks on over their shoes before entering our apartment to minimize the dirt.
Prompt cleaning of the dryer vent and dryer which seems to have been done well.
The only downside? Their advertised special price of $99 is supposedly not available in Manhattan -- seems like they're taking advantage of the NYC market in pricing things differently to the suburbs. Can the extra cost of parking and the time/admin taken in dealing with apartment buildings really add up to another $130 per appointment?

Our dryer filter sensor was going berserk, so we decided to give the vent and line a deep cleaning. After looking at a few companies, we scheduled an appointment with the guys at Flue Tech.
The technician showed up right on time and had the job done within 30 minutes. Aside from being a diligent worker, I also appreciated his honesty when evaluating how often well need to clean the system. Normally it's every 2 years, but he said we could easily go 4 or 5 years without much of an issue. Good to know. They also honored an online discount without any hassles or conditions.
