Moisture and Mold Check was formed in 2002 by the owners of LaRocca Inspections. As home inspectors, they regularly heard the concerns of their clients over "black mold" and potential health issues and were surprised by the hype and massive expense of mold inspection business models that almost seemed to capitalize on those fears.

I wish I would have read these reviews before calling them.
They were referred by our home inspector. John came out to do the inspection. He talked on about Judy about everything but mold, which was or only concern. He barely used the moisture meter, held it up a few seconds twice. No infrared, which they are supposed to do. No air samples. Before he left he demanded I provide him with my medical records and allergy test results.
An intrusive and unprofessional
demand, which I refused.
I found him arrogant, apathetic,
and incompetent.
Terrible company. Go elsewhere.

Moisture & Mold Check is a fraudulent company and a scam.
Moisture & Mold Check does not follow the California department of Health, EPA, CDC and WHO guidelines even though they say they do. We had less then 10 square feet of mold. They then tested it saying it was potential toxic mold recommended professional remediation that would have cost thousands of dollars.
I asked them to reinspect after I did the remediation my self and they did not give me a clearance. They don't have a valid process and always say get a professional remediation.
