NRVHBA is a professional trade organization dedicated to being the respected voice of the residential and commercial building industry. Chartered in May of 1976, NRVHBA is a nonprofit trade association, affiliated with the HBA of Virginia (HBAV) and the National Association of Home Builder Members (NAHB).
The Association is governed by a board of directors and executive committee representative of its Builder Member and Associate Member membership. NRVHBA represents the interests of residential & commercial Builder Members, developers and remodelers, as well as suppliers, subcontractors and related service providers.In serving its members, the Association strives to create an environment of free enterprise where regulations can be kept at a minimum and products and services can be produced at optimum value.

Known as "the voice of the housing industry, " the National Association of Home Builders represents more than 235,000 members involved in all aspects of home building and remodeling. When you join locally, you automatically receive membership at the state and national level. That means you get three memberships for the price of one!
The NRVHBA has created a Careers in Construction Month Video Series to raise awareness of the different paths in the construction industry, why you should look at it as a career and why education in the trades is so important. A huge need exists for skilled workers in the residential construction industry and that need continues to increase as more people in the industry retire.
