Simultaneously working through the design and budgeting process enables us to keep a close eye on the budget. Independent studies have shown that the Design-Build Homes process is Four to Six Percent less expensive than the traditional Design-Bid-Build approach. Once we decided on Blacksburg (we moved from Vermont), we started visiting construction job sites. We were impressed with the quality of construction and the contractors used by Progress Street. When we met with Don and his team, they listened to our ideas, made recommendations and walked us through the building process. This was especially important to us as we were not returning to the area until the house was completed. The Progress Street team kept us informed throughout the process. There were no unwelcome surprises. We love our new home-it's everything we hoped for and more!

From the design stage to the completion of our home our experience surpassed ALL expectations! Progress Street is a first class operation. We were amazed at their willingness to make sure they understood what we wanted and their workmanship is exceptional. There were never any costs that we were not aware of they use very high quality materials and their knowledge of building materials was impressive. It has been a year and a half since our home was finished and they still check on us to see if there is anything else we need. We have absolutely nothing but praise for this quality operation!

Progress Street Builders is building our first ever custom built home. The design process was informative, creative, and we received great feedback in order to build a cost-effective home that met our needs. The construction and selections has been so smooth and they've communicated with us every step of the way. We have been aware of changes that have been made and their affect on our budget immediately upon hearing about them. The construction staff has worked in changes we've made late in the process seamlessly to keep us on track for timing and closing. All in all, its been a flawless, exciting

The entire crew at Progress Street are the best in the Business! They go way above and beyond the call of duty during the entire building process and after. Once you build with Progress Street you are a customer for life. We have seen it over and over again how they call us to help them help their customers with issues that appear many years after the building process is completed. In some cases 5-10 years and later. This is something you don't see from many Home Builders!
