I booked HandySquad to make some repairs to a property in Ealing, based on the reviews I read on Google.
HandySquad cancelled the booking at 5.45pm the night before the scheduled repair date, citing that one of their operatives was ill. They offered to rebook the job in, for 4 weeks time. It should be noted that their cancellation policy states that they require a customer to give them 2 working days notice, otherwise a late notice charge will apply, they have no issue cancelling jobs on their customers with zero notice.

Don't need them very often - but always great when I do. I like that they try and get as much info as they can before the job to minimise time on site. Highly recommended.

I've used The Handy Squad a few times for my tenants and have always been pleased but unfortunately this time we did not have a good experience. The plumber they sent was rude, used bad language, left a mess and bizarrely started to try and rework the plumbing of a blocked sink - something the replacement plumber I had to send in had sorted within 15 mins using a plumbing snake. He then told us that the exterior drain was blocked - it was not - so I'm awaiting a call out charge from the managing agent of my block. The other repair he did to the toilet has already failed and needs to be redone.

I used the Handy Squad many, many times over many years and recommended them to many others. In the last two years however, the quality of the handymen sent to me came down considerably and the responsiveness of the office staff really went downhill too. The last two repairs had to have remedial action as they were badly botched, leaving damage on the walls and on a garden shed. and the last interactions with the office staff were really rude. I'm very sad as it used to be a brilliant service, but I can no longer recommend them. Look elsewhere for dedicated, professional handy-people.

Jonathan expertly replaced two broken sash cords on a window; he was efficient, meticulous and friendly. We have used The Handy Squad for a variety of jobs in the past and have always found them a pleasure to do business with.

I emailed handy squad for a quote on a Sunday and by Monday afternoon they had booked someone to come and give a no obligation quote for the work - a simple shelf installation. By the end of the week the work had been completed at a lower cost than they quoted. They communicated clearly and quickly, arrived on time. It was hassle free and speedy. They communicated well and were reliable. I will definitely use them again for any works needed.

Excellent experience with the whole team at Handy Squad - thus far they've sent round Richard to install picture hanging rails and Russell to make-good some holes in the walls. Both incredibly professional, did a fantastic job and were lovely to have around whilst being really accommodating around 3 people working from home. We'll be using Handy Squad for anything that needs doing in the house moving forward as it's the most convenient way of getting things done quickly and well. Would definitely recommend.

The Handy Squad are amazing. I had hired them a few times no and they have never let me down. Rather than hiring a stranger and being worried about who will turn up, I can trust the Handy Squad Team. I recently hired them to undertake half a day of odd jobs. The guy turned up on time, was polite, helpful, skilled and cleaned up after each job. They also do plumbing, electrics and more so make sure you book the Handy Squad for your jobs.
