I called because I started a project in my bathroom without having a clue as to what I was doing! After leaking water & a scratched tub I thought better call a professional. Just fix it came out the next day and fixed everything in a couple hours. The price was good and the guys could not have been nicer. I highly recommend.

My review is for JASON T. from Just Fix It. I rent and he was called out to fix some lighting outlet issues and my blinds. He kept in contact with me the entire time, fixed everything, and even brought my big rug that was delivered in when I wasn't there. I got the sense right away that he knew what he was doing (because let's face it, some don't) and hope that next time I have an issue, the company I rent from can use him again. These other reviews are a bummer for him because they do not reflect his work. Maybe see if you can ask for him specifically when using Just Fix It

I have no issue with the men who actually did the work in my home as the work was exactly what I needed (thank you, Patrick!). I do have a problem with Dan, who estimated the project. He came out, looked at the space, I described what I wanted, sent a link to the tile to use, and he bid it with tile that was far less expensive to install. This resulted in extra time, and money that we had to negotiate to get resolved. When it was all over, the garbage remained in my garage. When asked, I was told that it was an extra charge to be hauled away. I am not new to construction projects. In every project

Just Fix It came out on urgent notice to fix a section of our fence that had fallen down during the recent wind storms.

They were quick to respond to our inquiry, very communicative, professional, and reasonably priced.

I was having an issue with my gutter due to the snow and ice that was weighing it down. I called Just Fix It and they came the next day. They emailed and called to confirm they can come by that day and the work was done to my satisfaction. This company is very responsive and very friendly. They may not be the cheapest out there (at least in my opinion, but then again everything seems expensive to me), but they got the job done right in a very professional and efficient manner. We have been using Just Fix It for all of our Handyman needs for a number of years. Doug, Shawn and Josh all do great work. Everything from changing light bulbs (no ladders for us!) to hanging pictures and carpentry. Recently when we experienced flood damage from a broken ice maker, Shawn replaced the damaged panels in the basement ceiling and fixed a light fixture that had gotten wet. A baseboard that needed replacing was also installed, a perfect match for existing woodwork. They are very responsive and professional and their prices are quite reasonable as well.

I scheduled an in-person quote on 7/27/20 and the gentlemen who came out were prompt and reviewed everything. I was then told I would have a quote within 2-3 days.

A week after that, I left a message asking if my quote was ready. Its now been two weeks, so I will be looking elsewhere.

A few weeks ago I had them do various handyman projects and they did a good job.
Based on the handyman project completion I then contracted them to paint my 2 story home and some outside wood repair/replacement. Both Robbie and Mark very professional and courteous while communicating well with me. We did daily progress walk thrus and did our final walk thru today. We found 2 tiny areas that didn't have a 2nd coat and a few ladder scuff marks on my deck that Mark quickly addressed. They stayed on the job until everything was complete. Second visit from Just Fix It in two months-and we're RAVING FANS! The scope of the work included drywall replacement, flooring, and painting and Matt was beyond excellent. He willingly worked on our home over a Holiday weekend, and into the evening if necessary to finish the job. Matt is meticulous with the details, very clean, and friendly-a real pleasure to work with. First, I never ever post comments about service, products, etc. Just Fix It was a referral because we were looking to get our bathroom tub and since refinished and needed a company to change out the faucets. Shawn came to our home and not only was he pleasant, but also very knowledgable. Although our project didn't end up like we thought (absolutely no fault of his...our plumbing had issues) he was awesome. We have had him out for more projects (lighting and ceiling fan installation) and continuing to schedule additional projects. I wish I found Just Fix It and our service guy much sooner

Follow up review from over a year ago. . .

I called these people in 2018 to help my mom out and they were awesome, that was over a year ago. I recently found out from my mom that she has continued to use Just Fix It for other problems around the house and they've continued to provide excellent, dependable and affordable service. Its been difficult finding dependable, honest and good people to help my mom when needed, so it was very nice to hear that she can count on you guys! Incase you guys are reading this thank you. I came to Just Fix It with what I thought was a crazy idea of turning our basement built in bar into an awesome fort for our boys and they delivered!! Shawn was amazing and truly thought of every last detail. Shawn made sure that everything was safe and boy proof, as well as different details that would be fun for the boys! I had a very long list of straightforward but time consuming home fixes that I just couldn't get to whilst running round after my young kids. Seriously, some of the "to-do's" had been on my punch list for over two years 😬 then a friend recommended I call Just Fix It! and I'm so glad I did because they knocked the whole list out in one day. I recently bought a house and the seller had a Radon Mitigation System installed by Just Fix It. Once I moved in, it was hard to sleep in any of the downstairs bedrooms because the system shakes the whole lower floor and makes a nasty deep bass sound. I reached out to Just Fix It and they sent a guy out to look at it.
He told me that they needed to install a rubber fitting and they would have to come back with the right parts/tools. That was over 4 weeks ago.
They have completely stopped responding to my calls and texts. I wrote an email hoping they would respond to that, but I'm not getting

We had Patrick come to our home to install some interior doors. Not only was he professional and kind, he was efficient! He completed the work quicker than was quoted and let me tell you, those doors were not easy. All contacts with Just Fix It were professional and friendly. We heard from the company within 48 hours of calling and they had the doors installed within 2 weeks of calling and completing. The price was reasonable. We will be using them again!

They were hired to do a complete bathroom remodel. The quote seemed reasonable and the timeframe seemed reasonable. However, it took twice as long as they hsaid and 50% more than their quote. I continued to have problems for months, including a leak into my dining room below the bathroom causing black mold in the ceiling. They were dismissive of my issues and not willing to fix their own mistakes. It took almost 9 months to get the bathroom right. They had to come back at least four times to fix the problems before it was corrected. I still have issues with leaks but I will never call them again

I've tried many handymen/contractors for various projects around my historical home. These guys are the most reliable and honest of everyone I have tried. They have been the only people who have been responsive, reasonably priced, and timely in setting up the time they can get to our project and completing it within the stated time frame, and they do a very solid job! They're now my 1st go to for handyman and basic fixes around the house (they've done walls and ceiling drywall repairs for us and it's good as new or even better) as I have attempted to use almost every other handyman

Shawn was awesome to work with! We had called them with quite the difficult time frame to install flooring, trim, and doors before a party we were hosting. They came out quickly to quote us and were able to start a couple days later. Unfortunately we discovered a mold problem after demo which delayed the project. Despite having other jobs, Shawn and his team came over almost daily after other projects because he was so Dedicated to getting the job done on time and right! He was awesome! We have used other handymen that are not reliable on time commitments and I could not imagine going back to anyone

Really great experience with this company! Quickly came for a quote, gave creative and cost effective solutions for our run-down shed, and overall saved us a lot of money compared to our other options (and the other quotes that came in with those more expensive options!). Great communication - the work needed rescheduled but we were called over a week in advance. Also thankful for the communication during the project as a few things needed tweaked.

I was given many options that day, to fix the door jam. All included taking the door down, the trim, and pretty much redoing the entire doorway. I did decline. I fixed the problem of the door closing all the way in under five minutes with a rotary tool. Wasn't difficult or rocket science. As far as the trim, I was called from Home Depot and informed they no longer carried the same trim I had. I was told he, Sean, was going to look at my paperwork and see if he could find more trim, because it would be easier then replacing all of it. A whopping total of about 12 feet. This past summer, my brothers and I sought help to conduct repair work needed on our mother's house in Darien. All of us live out-of-town and the number of things we needed to do in order to prepare Mom's house for sale was overwhelming. I interviewed and received estimates from 5 or 6 contractors in search of a good general purpose handyman crew who would not cost us an arm and a leg. In the end, we picked Dan and Just Fix It because we liked Dan's approach. Dan proved to us that he and his crew would be there to take the stress off us. And they certainly lived up to this.

Just Fix It Inc. was just out today to fix my 80 year old dad's air conditioning. His went out yesterday night & I called them at 8pm to let them know that it went out. Doug called me within 20 minutes to say he was at Menards & ready to purchase the new A/C. His crew arrived at 9am the next day to install it. They were very friendly, greeted me very genuine & installed the A/C right away. They even tried to fix the old one to save me money but it was not repairable.
Thank goodness for them acting so fast because it was very stressful knowing that my dad was in his condo w/ an 80 degree temperature

I called on a Friday to get a handyman for a small toilet fix. I was very pleased with the price quoted although I had to wait for Monday for an available handyman. I was booked for an appointment between 3- 5 pm Monday but the coordinator said he would call Monday morning to follow-up. I did not receive a call Monday morning so I called back. The coordinator apologized for not calling due to an emergency that came up which apparently cancelled all plans for my appointment that day.
