I hired Chimney Quest to repair failing mortar on my 1930 brick house. It was a rough start but as soon and I brought up the issue the owner, John, personally came to my house to inspect and try to make it right. He did exactly that. I am extremely happy with the work that was done. His crew was very respectful and took the time to do it right. Not only did they find areas that I had missed but they were also detailed down to making sure not to get my white car dirty that was parked near the wall being worked on. That level of care is impressive.

The work done was fine. I was extremely disappointed in the final price versus the estimate. The company charged for additional hours and materials not included in the estimate, and didn’t inform they were way over their original estimate. They were not willing to work with me on the overage. Overall I was pleased with the workmanship but not with the company’s massively inaccurate estimate.

Had such a great experience from beginning to end! We had them convert our gas fireplace to a wood burning and also add a gas starter. We priced out a few different options and these guys had the best reviews and best prices for the job. They did an amazing job and most importantly were super responsive and came back several times at no charge after installation to work out some kinks. Customer service was top notch and they came quickly each time we needed them (and always sooner than anticipated). 100% recommend!!!!

My home was built in 1918 and the original coal burning chimney was in real bad shape. I don't think it had much in the way of maintenance in the past hundred years.. Every time it rained, water would leak into the house through the chimney pipe. John was able to provide an estimate only two days after I called, and had it repaired about a week later. I'm hopeful that the leak has been fixed and that the chimney will be solid for quite some time. The estimate was reasonable and they were friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable.

I needed a fake chimney repaired and Chimney Quest quoted a price that was half as much as the quote my HOA sent me to get the chimney repaired. The workers arrived on time, completed the work, cleaned up the debris and thanked me for choosing them. I would recommend this company for any chimney repair. Excellent work and service.
