Two of the biggest dangers to the health of your family and property are fires and CO poisoning. Your fireplace and dryer are two of the most common places where CO is emitted or has the right conditions to ignite a fire. This makes getting these two areas serviced on an annual basis very important.
For many, even though Fireplace Cleaning & Chimney Sweeping are listed at the top of the CPSC Fire Safety Check List, they have no idea what the chimney technician is really doing. Ashbusters came out quickly when we had issues with our gas fireplace. Unlike others in the area, they did not charge a service call fee. Within minutes, the tech had diagnosed the issue (a simple loose wire) and helped loosen our stuck gas valve. Thanks to him, we now have a lovely fire for our Christmas celebrations! And, he didn't even charge us. Just wonderful customer service. We will be using again should we have further issues or need cleaning! Thanks, Ashbusters!

Chris was extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure our chimney was operational immediately so that we didn't have to wait to use our fire place. He was prompt (early even) and took a great deal of time explaining what he was doing so that I could understand. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a chimney inspected or repaired.

We have used Ash Busters twice to inspect our chimney and fireplace. Both times the engineers could not have been nicer. I trust them and feel comfortable with them in my home. Shout out to Jim Collins, the certified chimney sweeper who came this week. He went above and beyond to help and stayed later just to show me (patiently) how to turn on our gas fireplace. Very good service!

Joe was out technician and he did a great job! They came when scheduled and were very quick and efficient. Ashbusters serviced our gas fireplace and cleaned the dryer vents and did a fantastic job. We haven't had the fireplace functional in over five years and in less than an hour it's burning and beautiful and we're thrilled. Thanks Joe!!!

Allan and Matt were actually working on a neighbors house when I asked them about their info so I could make an appointment to service my gas fireplace. Instead, they asked what the problem was and after they were completed with my neighbors home, they came over and helped me with my gas fireplace. They took 10 mins and got it running again and answered every question I had as I haven't had gas fireplaces before. They went above and beyond even without having an appointment. I would definitely recommend Ashbusters to anyone, especially these 2 guys. Thanks again!!

Nice try from Mark S. My flooring experts (two,) and a relative - ALL who had all witnessed the PRISTINE floors before your workman confirmed your hatchet job. You didn't tape down the floor covering and brought pebbles in from the drive way and rubbed them into the floors all live long day, then denied it. A reputable company had to redo the work you started finding a great omission in a component of the work AS WELL AS FLAMMABLE material used in your incomplete job. Your company service was excellent PRIOR to signing on the dotted line, and not just dismal, but abusive when you botched

Absolutely horrible customer service. I have been trying to get someone to come out for almost a month now to service our chimneys. They told me about their service plan, and since it would save about 50% of the price they quoted, I agreed to sign up. Well, trying to sign up to save money and get someone scheduled to come out has been an absolute headache. I have never had so much difficulty trying to pay someone money to get service. It's been beyond ridiculous. I am done trying to work with their office am currently exploring reviews on Yelp and Nextdoor for another Chimney Service company

We've used Ashbusters a few times now to clean our chimney over the years. They've always done a great job. The last time we did it was April 2019, the Tech was Kameron who recommended we replace the top of our framed stack as it was holding water and was concerned about water penetration. He provided a quote after cleaning the chimney and told me to let him know when we were ready to complete the work. Fast forward to October 2019 and when we reached out and they made the appointment at our convenience, Kameron and one other Tech came out and replaced the chimney top with a seamed

I am a realtor and often times after a home inspection my sellers need someone to fix/service gas logs. In this case we had a direct vent gas system and the gas valve was not working. Matt (so glad he was the tech) came out, evaluated the issue and ordered a gas valve. The repair wasn't cheap but the alternative was to replace the whole system.
It wasn't as easy as taking the old out and putting new in but Matt stayed after it and never gave up until it was working.
Always best to get 2 opinions on the fireplace repairs since some companies are incentivized to over-sell their services

We hired Ashbusters to design and build a complete overhaul of our existing gas fireplace and mantle. We hired them to convert it to a wood burning Regency insert. They installed a new mantle, placed rock around the fireplace itself, and install a new hearth shelf. The salesman and the technicians were very friendly, professional, and respected my home. The final product is a focal point in our house and everyone compliments us on how beautiful our fireplace is. I am confident in their techncial expertise and will use them in the future to clean, inspect, and maintain my fireplace.

Had them out again to find the leak what a joke. It was excuse after another why the chimney leaked tried to blame it on me yet for having to big of a chimney Two techs came out this time they water tested it said they found the leak.They could not fix it because the chimney was wet.Let the materials with me to do the job.They should have come back the next day instead I had to do it still leaks.

Pure thievery. I told the lady on the phone that the burner wouldn't ignite on my gas fireplace and needed it fixed. She told me that before they can look at the problem, I would have to pay for a general maintenance appointment which included professionally cleaning the logs, changing batteries in remote and a bunch of other stuff I didn't need for around $250 BEFORE they would look at what is causing the issue because I was a new customer and they had to get familiar with my fireplace. When I told her I didn't want my logs cleaned etc. she told me that is the only way they would

I dont know whether their prices are good, and it does take a little while to get an appointment if you call in the winter (their busy season), however they were on time, they were polite, they didnt make a mess, they got on my roof (hazardous for sure), put a camera up my chimney so that they and i could really see what was in there and discussed the options and prices on the spot. They followed up with a written proposal, and the technician, Clyde, followed up personally by email (my preferred method of communication) and continued to answer questions promptly via email until i had enough info

Wow....I was super anxious about calling this place because the Yelp review are super dicey. But they sure don't have a lot of competition in Nashville for cleaning chimneys (is there anyone else??). I was calling around looking for someone to clean the chimneys in the house I just bought. I called 5 different companies in town, and all 5 quoted me at least 6 weeks waiting time. I guess chimney sweeping is more popular than I originally thought.

Ashbusters were the second chimney service I contacted. The first (a company from Florida) came in at a low bid. However, after the thorough camera inspection and explanation from Tim, of Ashbusters Chimney Service, we felt more confident and assured of the needed service.
We do not know when the chimney was last used, but it was not in the best of shape. After the two days of repairs and the photo review, we are looking forward to our first, safe fireplace.
