Angela founded AMD Architecture in 1997 with the goal of providing quality architecture that is equally responsible to her clients and the greater environment. Through professional experience, education outreach, and community involvement, she is dedicated to promoting all aspects of sustainable design.
We are members of your team with you as the captain. Our role is to listen, understand, and provide guidance in order to translate your dreams into reality. We understand that each project is unique, every site is different, and each client deserves individual attention. Rather than presenting a trademark style, we provide site-specific design responses that are appropriate to climate, context, and our client's design style.
AMD Architecture is committed to involvement in activities on a local and regional level which are felt to have architectural significance or community benefits. We have been involved with a range of projects from writing municipal High Performance Building Standards (HPBS) to designing a low-income green home development.
While meeting with you in our office and on the site, we are able to learn the basic requirements of the building as well as the fine intricacies that will make the project special. We will investigate building codes, zoning ordinances, and site conditions before design begins. We encourage clients to prepare themselves for the design process by doing a bit of research on their own.
