Contractors, DO NOT do any work with this company, we stopped working for them in 2016 because they were awful about paying invoices. Well in August they slipped through as an emergency call when our after hours service answered and because our technician had already been onsite and invested his time we allowed him to complete the job. Well now they owe us over $4000.00 and will not return our phone calls. I fear our options now are a Lien or Collections. Save yourself a headache and just don't do it. The reviews and lack of response to them tell you all you need to know.

EDC can't keep their commitments/word, is very slow pay (if you get paid), to vendors that do work for them.
They have a great customer service team, but beyond that, everything else is junk. AP won't respond, good luck with vendor relations, seems that management is oblivious to how much customer service carries the weight for the whole company, because the other departments screw everything else up and don't pay vendors, etc.
I do not recommend using or being a vendor for this company.

We take great pride in providing great customer service for nationwide retail stores for over 30 years. I am always calling to collect our money, even though I follow their guidelines. The terms are net 45 and they never pay on time. They do not return emails and when you finally get a hold of someone they always have an excuse. We completed a job in September 2019 and still have not received payment.

We have worked as a contractor for EDC Services for over 5 years. Like every other Facility Maintenance Company, Payment is Net 45 (Business Days) which translates to about 2 months, which is what everyone does. I have never had 1 problem with payment from EDC Services, and we have done well over 100 hundred jobs for them over the 5 years. We are currently a vendor with over 2 dozen other Facility Maint. Companies just like EDC Services. I would rank EDC in the top 5 out of all the companies like them that we do work for.

To my fellow contractors out there considering working for EDC please do not! As a small family owned business hit hard due to corona virus I am appalled with the unprofessionalism of this company. This company lead me to believe they were legit by paying a few small jobs. Now I have been waiting well over 60 days for a response on past due invoices. I have emailed every contact, called and left messages. Anyone who answers forwards you to a voicemail you have already been to. Legal action seems to be the only alternative with them.

Run the other way if you are a vendor. I dealt with Alan Cutler, and we were asked to push a project. We did everything to meet their schedule, and completed the work. It has been over six months, and we have not been paid a dollar, let alone a response to email or our phone call. Do not work with this company, they will tell you everything you want to hear, and following the completion of the work they disappear. This is the second project we have done with them, and the first project was the same story. We will be pursuing legal action against EDC.

I feel like we were manipulated by EDC into doing work for them, as we are still waiting on payment 2 months later. We do not do billing- we require payment same day that work will be done, so Erica Vasquez said she would “notate on our file” that we would get paid same day. It was clear by the time our plumber was done doing work, that this agreement to pay us same day was a complete fabrication. When we called to get payment, we were told there was no note on our file, and we were told a “check” would be cut in 30-45 days. It’s been an endless game of calling and explaining the situation

Ive done work in the past for EDC and contracted for The Fresh Market, getting paid took more time then most calls. We terminated service with them for a year or two. They started sending work orders our way again and we decided to give it another try since we were working with someone new, the last lady apparently was no longer with the company. GREAT, well come to find out she is still working with the company, but their turn over rate seems to be very high. You never deal with the same person for long, and the last service call we did for them, totaling a whopping $100, took almost 6 months
