Hands Down the Best A/C outfit I've used in my 26 years in Phoenix. Competitive pricing. Their guys are not cast offs or summer help like so many other companies just to put a body on your roof. I have used them over the last several years for Repairs, yearly maint. and finally a replacement. Last Thursday my AC went down. I noticed it around noon. They were there at 1:30. My unit was 20 years old and about done. The tech did what he needed to do to get me up and running but let me know it was toast and wouldn't last. We called Salty (the owner) and put together a deal for a new unit

Mechanical Brothers installed a new Trane A/C at a very reasonable price compared to some of the larger A/C companies. There were a few tweaks that needed attention after the initial install and they were on it immediately. Good to have a local A/C that's responsive without price gouging you - especially here in AZ.

Our a/c stopped working at about 830 pm last night. I requested a call online and they were calling within 10 minutes. They scheduled us between 6-8am the next morning which was fantastic. The service technician was professional and I could tell he was an expert. He texted at 6 letting me know he was on the way and I got a phone call when he was just a few minutes away as well. Performed the diagnosis, gave me a quote, and fixed the ac up same morning. Highly recommend.

Our property manager had previously used this company to replace a condenser in one of our AC units. Our 2nd AC unit was having issues so we decided to call them. They were able to come out within a day, diagnose the issue quickly, replace the part, and have the AC unit working right away. We thought the price was reasonable. The technician was knowledgeable and customer service oriented. We'll definitely call them first for any other heating and cooling issues. Thanks Mechanical Brothers!

I'm not sure if was just the tech I got or the company as a whole. I requested them to come by and service my non working AC. They came by July 21st, on the 24th I called stating I never received an invoice or estimate. The call service person admitted that the tech had issues getting invoices in and while waiting for an estimate I called another AC company got an estimate and scheduled a repair. On August 3rd I finally received my invoice for payment stating the work was done on the 26th without an estimate.
Would not recommend this company if your AC is out and expecting a quick turn around

Saw 4.5 stars with 28 reviews so decided to give them a try. Now that I look again, the stars are from 1, 2 and 3 years ago - no recent reviews. . .makes more sense now.
Called them because my unit didn't sound like it used too - works fine just didn't sound the same. Joe D came over (before my wife got there) and came off the roof with my motor in hand saying "you need a new motor" AND "you need a new motor mount". To the tune of $982 !! Umm, the unit is already disassembled, so now it doesn't work and beyond getting another quote. Looks like they've got

When my daughters air-conditioning went out I called on a few of my friends that own AC companies. No one was available. I selected this company off of Yelp based on the reviews which is standard for me. They were very professional and dispatched a technician out almost immediately. The technician Joe was very polite and professional and even pointed out and fixed an issue other techs did not fix previously. I have used Mechancial Brothers three times now to fix my air conditioner. This past time, I called him at 8 o'clock last night because it sounded like a bearing was going on my fan motor. He said somebody would be there between seven and nine the next day. Joe arrived at 7:30 and he had the new motor in by 8:15. Their prices are fair. I would highly recommend them.

I saw the reviews for this company and thought they would be great to do a tune up on my a/c unit. I was lucky enough to find a Groupon for the work I needed done. I purchased the Groupon and called to make an appointment. The number I called was a mobile number and I guess it was a tech that answered, and he said he would have the office call me right back at my number. An hour later I still hadn't received a call, so I called back and got the office number to call myself. I have decided to incest little in housing, I purchases a house in Phoenix. AsEscrow got closed I have realized that my central AC does not work properly. There you go more expenses!!!! I started to look technicians to fix it. It turned out that the whole systems in terrible condition and I hace decided to change it. My realtor refereed Mechanical Brothers and I am so glad I met them. They did A-Z planing and replacing. They took the old one apart, installed the new one with such a reasonable price. Called them to come out to service AC unit and check air temp. This time of year is very busy for them but they came out within a week. Our service tech was helpful and professional. Very experienced. Time was supposed to be 8 am but he called at 6:15 am .. fortunate my phone was even on as I put it in airplane mode normally. He arrived at 6:25.. super hot in AZ in July so can't blame him.
Unit will need replaced. But it's still running. So a check up for 69.00 doesn't include cleaning coils ... I guess that is now about 160.00? Will get bids on replacing unit.

We have dealt with many companies in the past and have been looking for a company that could assist our elderly female friend of the family. Since we are VERY protective of her we did our due diligence and checked out several. This company was recommended to us so after checking them out decided to give them a try. We're very glad we did. They not only were thorough and professional but also were approachable and friendly. I wouldn't have an issue letting her be there by herself next time they come to service her heating and A/C unit. In Greater Phoenix Metro area with temperatures soaring over 110 degree temperatures from June through August air conditioning is very important to make a residential home or commercial building so it is safe and habitatal.

These guys are lifesavers! This is a review I should have left a long time ago when my father's AC unit just broke down and left everyone in the house frantic. Since I live on the other side of town, I had to find a company that was closer to my dad's house and would come ASAP (it was literally 110 degrees outside.) As soon as I spoke with the owner, he told me not to worry and that he would have one of his technicians over right away. Well, "right away" in customer service world is usually an hour or two, but nope! The owner had someone at my dad's house after 15 minutes

As a resident in the Phoenix area resident the past 15 years, I have a great appreciation of that feeling of cool air rushing over me as I walk into an air conditioned house or store. Also as a Phoenix resident, I know the dreadful, sweltering, triple-digit heat we experience in the summer months.
