Services
The National Fire Protection Association or NFPA recommends having the chimney that services your furnace, hot water heater, and/or boiler cleaned and inspected annually, whether gas or oil feuled. During a furnace, hot water heater, or boiler flue cleaning, Allen Chimneys' fully trained technicians will begin the sweep by removing the pipes from the appliances.

The chimney flashing is located in the space between the roof and the chimney. It acts as a sealant joint, preventing water to fall down the chimney and penetrate into this corner space, ultimately damaging the interior of the home or building. It is engineered specifically to allow expansion and contraction for both the roof material and the chimney masonry without damaging each.

I called Allen Chimneys for an estimate to repair my fireplace. While the estimate arrived in under 24 hours what I really got was an education on what was wrong with my fireplace and chimney and what Allen Chimneys could do to fix it. Rob and Tim arrived on time (actually they called to see if they could come earlier - yes!) They were so respectful of my home - wore masks, had foot covering on, covered my rug with a cloth as they examined my hearth and chimney. Rob took pictures and explained what he thought was wrong and then took more photos when up on the roof to confirm his suspicions. As

At present all we've done is arrange for some extensive chimney repair and repointing to be done in the spring. But so far these people have been really a pleasure--responsive, professional, and generally very nice to do business with. We asked for a second opinion on an inspection report from a different chimney company stating our chimney was dangerous and needed a new (very expensive!) liner. Allen Chimneys was very responsive and professional and scheduled a prompt appointment. Theron took a look at the chimney in question and said that it has a steel liner in good working order. No need for that expensive liner! I tried to pay him for his time but he didn’t accept. Feel lucky to have found such an honest second opinion. In the future we will be using Allen Chimneys!

Allen Chimney did a fantastic job at repairing our chimney. The men worked quietly, quickly, and efficiently. Theron Allen arrived at our house and completely an inspection a gave us a verbal estimate and followed up with a written one.

Finally - real fireplace experts! I previously was ripped-off by a well-known chimney company and had Theron (owner) come take a look at my fireplace. He really knew what he was talking about and did not try to upsell me at all. They replaced my damper, cleaned my flue, and did some great mason work in my hearth/firebox. I couldn't be happier with Allen Chimneys.

Allen Chimneys did an excellent job relining our fireplace flue and repairing some cracks in our firebox. Scheduling the work was very easy and tech-savvy, which I so appreciate! The workers were friendly, respectful, wore masks while in the house, and set up a cool plastic fort around the fireplace to ensure no soot escaped and got our walls/ceiling/floor dirty. Would have been 5 stars if Allen Chimneys could've done the chimney inspection themselves, but they're so busy right now they had to outsource. These guys replaced my chimney lining & fixed the stack on my roof after I moved into my house in summer of 2016. The work was good. The company was professional. Price was decent with respect to the market. I am now continuing to use them for my annual sweep. Theron, the owner, is a trust-worthy individual which is quite important in this field. A little over a year ago, Theron Allen installed our gas logs with efficiency and extremely good humor. When he noted that he had packed the wrong log set, he immediately jumped into his truck, drove all the way home, and returned with the correct logs even though it meant working into the evening hours. Just yesterday, he returned to solve a problem--a simple one. A bit of dust was blocking the pilot light. He fixed the problem, and he showed me what to do if it happened again. We had an issue with our home heating system and needed to get someone in to look at our chimney before PSEG would turn things back on for us. Allen Chimneys was out the same day and within 5 minutes of being int he house knew what the issue was and turned things around for us immediately.
I can't say enough about how timely they were as I am still waiting for a call back from another chimney service that was rate high on Yelp 5 days later!

Very professional and extremely friendly. I just had my chimney inspected, and they walked mw through the entire process of what they were looking for and what would need to be fixed. I will more than likely use them to do the work thats required once i get the price quote. Update to follow ince i get quote and the work done.

I wasn't clear on the services provided. I called to get this clarified. I was spoken over a couple of times and asked the person to let me make my point. I requested a chimney cleaning. I ended up with an inspection and large estimate for repair. I wasn't connecting the dots on that so I wanted clarity. I had to end the phone call after realizing this was going to be a one way conversation. I'm sure they do great service for most. I just didn't walk away feeling like I had an understanding of what I was getting into. I thought most folks do free estimates and inspections

I literally just had a job done by Allen Chimneys. These guys did an amazing job! I had a damaged chimney that needed to be rebuilt. Theron came did a estimate that was a price way lower than anyone else I spoke to. They were able to start the job quickly and it came out amazing ! I would recommend them to anyone. I first used this company for a chimney cleaning early in the year. After that I used them for a bigger job to repoint my chimney, add a cap and more. Since the job was done I have been contacting the company and owner numerous times regarding their workers getting cement spots all over my new steps. We just put in new limestone last year and they are damaged because of this companies sloppy clean up. Every time the steps get wet they show hundreds of cement spots that weren't cleaned up from the work they did on the roof. Their clean up was done sloppily and for weeks after the job was done

Allen Chimneys did wrong by me. I hired them way back in 2012 to replace my chimney flue. they came, reviewed the site and said the job was bigger than I thought. the chimney needed to be opened up, with all new ductwork needed, besides a new flue. Allen Chimneys, LLC completed the job in 2012 and then my problems began. when the heating season of 2102-13 started, I experienced a problem with back-drafting, meaning specifically that my furnace was covered with scorch marks from the fire inside the boiler. NOT a good situation!! I call Allen and they said the problem certainly had nothing

Allen Chimneys cleaned my chimney today and did a wonderful job. They were on time, SO nice, very professional and kept the chimney surrounding area very clean even though there was 20+ years of soot, etc., they managed to clean out. I did my research and believe their rate is very reasonable. I also have to repeat: these guys were so nice. I'd give them more stars if I could!
