Our initial purchase and quality of product and service was good. We had a good turn around time on installation of a gas fireplace; a replacement for an older propane set of logs. However, after just one summer, the remote / pilot light didn't work. I contacted them and only got spotty responses, asking if I checked the batteries. They are pretty busy and supply chain issues have taken their tool, but they did what they could. I took a few days, but I got a response back that they were sending a technician out with new parts to install. The installer did a nice job confirming the issue I reported

I will warn you that once your purchase is complete your warranty is worthless because they will not call you back and you will be stuck. I spent over $5000 for a wood burning insert and have had problems with the blower from day 1. I even called the district manager who promised he would have John contact me. That was 3 weeks ago and I've heard nothing from either of them.
Today I paid a local service person who was able to fix it in 15 minutes. Turned out the sensor had not been properly installed. I

If I could rate them negatively...I would. Started talking with Ray the first week in December of 2019. Ordered a set of doors (he came to our house and took measurements early Jan 2020). Placed doors on order. Was notified after MULTIPLE unanswered emails in March 2020 that the doors were declared lost in shipping and that the door manufacturer was redoing the order. After two months of unanswered emails, Ray finally replied and said we would have to resubmit a new order form and this time we would need to make a template for the door. My wife and I built a house recently. After the plans were finalized, we realized that the designer had a vent less gas log system in mind where he placed the fireplace. After speaking with John and other fireplace stores, we did not feel this was the best fit for our home.
My wife and I walked into this store on a whim. Could not be happier to have found them. John spent a long time looking at the plans and coming up with a solution.
We ended up moving the location of the fireplace and going with a wood burning

I would not trust this company to safely install a fireplace in my house. I reached out to them as the fireplace experts regarding installing a fireplace insert in my home. They told me I needed to install an outlet in the back of the fireplace for the blower to plug into. After paying an electrician to do this work, I heard from the fireplace manufacture that this unit can not be plugged in behind the fireplace, because it would melt the wiring and could cause an electrical. I then reached back out to Ray to try to understand what happened, and he never responded to another one of my emails or

I sent them a message about replacing our old buck stove insert with gas logs. John replied back that a gas insert would be better. We visited their showroom and spoke with Ray who was very helpful. Did the fireplacex design, sent to John who promptly responded with quote. We had the insert installed the next week. John and his crew were very professional, cleaned up and explained how to operate concisely. Highly recommend!

These guys were very easy to work with. Others had turned up their nose when I said that I needed new logs for my 25-year old gas log setup, telling me that they could only be sold with a specific gas burner unit (mine still works fine). When they called to say they had arrived - we had ordered a set that wasn't in their store - they even sent someone to drop them off on the front porch. Good service!

We started shopping for a fireplace/woodstove last year and Ray has been an exceptional help at all times. Sure, sometimes they may not be able to respond immediately, but they are a small company and everyone wears a lot of hats. Bottom line is even though we weren't ideal customers, we knew just enough to be dangerous but not as much as we thought, and changed our minds AFTER they had already ordered a fireplace for us, they continued to provide excellent service and I absolutely love our new wood stove (which is what we changed to aside from the fireplace insert for our new construction home

Called Ray at Raleigh Fireplace . I told him I could not come to the shop due to my health condition. He made an appointment for early Oct. He had shipped me folders of his recommendations prior to the appointment. He recommended the 616 style fireplace. The Fireplace order was place and installed on OCT 30. I was very pleased with
Fireplace install, the Custom Fireplace surround back plate delivered 6 weeks later. I recommend Raleigh Fireplace because they do what they say and then do it. They are very busy Thanks giving till Jan so plan for a install during off times for gas logs. My daughter
