AJM came to my home to do a fence repair for about 40 feet of fence. The work they did was extremely poor and a mess was left behind. Issues included: lots of excess concrete at the fence posts damaging the flower beds next to the fence; concrete covering sprinkler lines and a sprinkler head; broken pieces of fencing at the juncture to the fence posts; damage to the landscaping on both sides of the fence... Mike and his crew did an amazing job! Mike was super easy to communicate with and very fast with his responses. He went above and beyond designing a garden/chicken fence for us and installed a beautiful fence around the perimeter of our yard. Very fair pricing. His crew was very nice and courteous. Adam, Cory and Mario did such an amazing job. I am very picky and this is the crown jewel of my backyard, so my expectations were high. They blew them away. I had several last minute changes and they listened and executed. It was really a fun experience as they are all nice and good people.
Showed up on time, left the area super clean everyday and the quality of the work is next level. Their expertise was impressive and were able to make more storage room than I had planned.

So in love with our new gate! A few companies were trying to talk us into getting vinyl, saying wood was hard to get with a wait time of a month and more expensive. Mike not only made it happen within days, but saved us tons of money and gave us a beautiful red wood gate that we've been dreaming of forever! We felt good about using a family business during this crazy time and his workers were fantastic. Highly recommended.

There isn't a rating low enough for AJM construction. I contracted with Mike last year starting May 6th 2019 for a kitchen remodel. I should have gone onto Yelp originally, as I see it says "Fences, Gates, Masonry/Concrete. That should have been the red flag for me as it does not say Kitchen remodels. Mike had his Subcontractor Andy do most of the work. Day 1, demolition day.....pulling out cabinets, dragging out appliances and nothing was put on my wooden floor to protect them. I had to call Mike to tell him they needed to cover the floor. Andy couldn't put together a

I had a couple of gates redone to match the fencing that I had done previously, and everything that I wrote about AJM back then continues to apply. Manuel and Luis even worked through intermittent rain to ensure that the job was done on time, which I greatly appreciated. On top of that, my neighbors later commented on how good the gates look, with what I sensed as a slight pang of jealousy--isn't that what we all ultimately want out of our homes? (;

Mike and his team, Sammy and Leon, did an excellent job replacing my old gate with a new custom-built one. He was able to schedule the job one day after I agreed to it, so the turnaround was much faster than I anticipated. I wanted a specific arch-top design which I saw on the AJM website. The price was fair, and Sammy and Leon cleaned up every last bit of construction debris. Very happy with their work!

Mike is a terrific man, and his team is phenomenal. They built us a beautiful random stone front pathway that exceeded our wildest expectations. Mike and his guys also built us an A frame for our newly enlarged patio that made my wife cry tears of happiness. Mike communicates clearly and with integrity. OUTSTANDING SERVICE!! I had sent messages to 8 different contractors from Yelp. They others were all over charging me and telling me that in order to fix my metal gate it would be a minimum of $180 to $250 and some told me they would need to bring out two people because the gate was heavy. Seriously? I am ableto move the gate around by myself. I ended up going with Michael Tucker because he was honest and very professional and stuck to the price that he quoted me. I used this contractor to pressure wash and seal the sandstone in my front and back yard, and to install four beams in my family room. I am very satisfied with the quality of the work performed. The sandstone now looks better than new, and the beams in my family room look great! The workers arrived on time and were very professional on both jobs, and Mike was very hands on in overseeing his workers to ensure that I was satisfied with the finished products. I would highly recommend this contractor.

The problem is when some contractors know you are volnurable and tired, and need help, they take advantage. I had variety of small jobs to get done around the house. Per our agreement he assured me it all will be done and gave me an estimate. I was fine with it.
Every day, he would tell me the job is finished, I would go and see it isn't done. He would redo the job and something was always wrong with it. I had a good experience with Mike when he did our outdoor wall, but indoor small jobs, I could have done better. When inspector came for the house, he said we need two stoppers in the sinks

Whatever you do, do not use this company! I just got done with a 3 month nightmare that should've only been a 4 week project. I have never written a negative review, but feel it is necessary so others don't get burned. I would not say this without just cause, so I'll share with you everything we went through:
-Block wall along back property line: the only part of project that went well
-Gas line from meter to new fire pit: the trench collapsed once the landscapers placed the sod and landscaping requiring the landscapers to compact trench and replace sod.

We hired Mike to replace the concrete porch and steps in front of our house.
After a year, there is significant cracking.
Note: we have had other concrete work at our house by other contractor(s) prior to this work and it is still beautiful, so this is not a landslide / shifting house issue.
Despite 2 calls (weeks apart) and 2 emails, no response from Mike (unavailable to take the calls and no response to the emails).
I expect more.

Mike has worked for us in the past and were very satisfied with the work. Mike's team was here timely, and completed the work as promised and on schedule. The last project (fencing around an 11,000 sft property) has stood the test of time over +10 years. This time we had Mike add some gates and replace a section (50 ft) that water from sprinklers damaged.
A few drama's along the way with this last project, but Mike immediately made things right. In the end we were completely satisfied and would recommend them for a project similar to ours.

What a great find these people are! Mike called back right away and stopped by my property to quote a fence that had fallen over.....all within 3 hours! He knew I was concerned about my dog getting out and really expedited everything. A more than reasonable estimate, work scheduled and done. Wally the gentleman who did the work was professional and courteous. Work came out beautiful.

Absolutely could not be happier with the work they did. Mike, the owner, was honest, trustworthy, and easy to get along with. I had 6 companies come out and bid a wood fencing job at my house and he turned out to be the least expensive. Come to find out he's also the easiest contractor to get along with I have ever encountered. Because of his prices, honesty, and quality of work, we are looking for additional projects around the house for his crew to get done.
