Do not use Design Carpet because they scammed us and our insurance company. In 1999, we had red oak floors installed throughout the entire downstairs of our house from another company. They were absolutely beautiful for 14 years until our hot water heater overflowed while we were out of town and flooded the downstairs of our house. In 2013, our insurance company strongly recommended Design Carpet to install new red oak floors throughout the entire downstairs of our house. They were paid over $40,000 to install the new red oak wood floors.

Do NOT do business with this company. I was provided a quote for the installation of about 270 sq foot of luxury vinyl tile. The quote was provided on November 1st. The installer (Gustavo) and a helper came out and floated the floor on November 7th. At this point I am happy with the work and timing to complete the job. The next day, Gustavo and his helper returned to install the vinyl tile. The work was complete in about 2 hours after his arrival. Upon initial inspection of the flooring, the seams looked tight and the floor felt solid to walk on. However, the next morning, as the light is shining
