This is my first yelp review, and I couldn't be more thrilled to write it! This is a great company, Duane, the owner Im assuming, was just great to work with. I tried 3 other lawn agencies I found on Yelp, no call or email returned. I sent a request via email to D.A.D.s lawn service through their website around Noon on a Monday, and Duane was at my house at 4pm the same day to take a look and give me an estimate, which I received via email that same night. Estimate was fair, and I booked the job for Wednesday. I texted Duane about adding a metal border to the area his crew would be installing

The rates are reasonable. The service is average. The communication is poor. It took 3-5 days for the business to return a call on more than one occasion. They told me I was wrong when reporting the condition of my yard without even seeing for themselves.
To critique the service on the lawn, they use a mower with a huge deck, so if you have a lawn that isn't flat, it's going to look uneven.
Now for the terrible customer service. I have a large percentage of rocks and plants in my front yard (~ 40% rocks vs. grass). I called in advance to confirm that my garden rocks would

I was skeptical about hiring a lawn service, since I was afraid of getting a lazy crew that basically just mowed and nothing more. Not with Duane and his crew! They came out, pulled weeds, put fertilizer down, and just in general really took care of my brand new lawn! I was so happy with the job they did, and I look forward to continuing my service with them into infinity!

You will get top notch professional service from D.A.D.'s! I called many other people who never returned my call. I called D.A.D.s' and within three hours Duane (owner proprietor) was at my house giving me a consultation about my yard. I was so impressed that I decided to setup bi-monthly service on the spot. They came today for the first service and my lawn looks great. Not only is this company great for basic lawn care, but they are well informed about all types of lawn care you can do if you want to your lawn to really shine! I would give them ten stars if I could. YOU CAN'T GO

Wow, I am SO pleased with D.A.D.s and their team. I cannot even express my sincere satisfaction for these guys helping me when I needed it. Why did I need my yard cared for and refuse to do weekly service?
First, I called and emailed 7 places, no joke, 7 in the Austin area. 4 responded, the other 3 didn't even bother because I specifically said that I could not commit to weekly or bi-monthly service yet but needed monthly or at least a one time job done.
All 3 (other than DADs) quote me $45 for twice a month service and
