We had an awkward cast iron stove (with a difficult floor plan to work with) and wanted to remove it and install a gas insert fireplace. We shopped around for a few years and no one could really give us a plan on how to go about doing this. Highland not only gave us a plan but helped us to create a fireplace that looked like it had been built with the house. They matched the mantle legs to the original wood support posts of the stair railing in our 100 year old house. Their materials and workmanship are excellent! And the surprising thing was after having looked into doing this for a few years

Have had problems with the unit since it was installed. The owner was condescending insinuating that we could not follow his directions. When he rudely came to “educate” us he had the same problems. I noticed they don’t carry that line any more. I guess he finally “got educated”. The unit was put in to heat an addition that was cold in the winter. We use a space heater now. When I took apart the bottom of the unit to see if I could see a loose connection I found eight pieces of pipe they had cut along with other flameble material. I am not a negative person when reviewing companies but

Kerry and the crew installed a fireplace at my home just about 2 years ago, very professional and courteous. Recently i found i was missing a part, gave them a call to see if they had it, they took my number and checked for the part, then called me back a few minutes later to tell me they found the part.
