I have been looking for a neat, professional experienced chimney cleaner for 3 years. This is the 3rd company I've hired in the last 3 years, in search of a permanent company I can trust.
I called Ron, he picked up the phone, and explained that he is personally on every job. I liked that.
He quoted the price on the phone for the 2 woodstoves.
When he arrived, he put down drop cloths from the door all the way to the stoves and started his work.

I’ve seen Ron’s Chimney Sweep around the area for years. We initially called Ron for an inspection. He said my flu didn’t need to be cleaned (he could have said otherwise). I happened to say that when we have a good fire going, the smoke has been getting in the house. He said we need a topper. He was right. Ron and his assistant Andrew were VERY personable. It was obvious why I’ve seen Ron’s name around for so many years.

Wonderful Experience! As a new homeowner, I had questions about how often I needed to clean my gas-furnace flu and my fireplace chimney. Ron could have suggested a regular, yearly cleaning and I would not have known any better. Instead, he took the time to discuss my system and its usage, what to look for if there is a problem, and was honest and told me I had no need for his services at this point in time. We recently purchased and new home, and needed to figure out what condition our chimney and two fireplaces were in before the winter came.

After buying a new home, we had Ron come out to inspect, clean and service our chimney. Ron advised us that we did not need a cleaning, saving us money. We knew we needed a new damper and cap and Ron made completing those jobs a high priority during a very busy time for chimney companies. He worked with our schedule, coming in the late evening to install our damper because “I hate to see you losing some much heat through an open chimney.” We plan on having Ron back out for some re-pointing but he was forthright in advising us that it’s not as pressing an issue as we thought.
