When my chimney sweep raised his price by one-third again as much, I looked at Yelp reviews and found Blodgett's. They were right on time, charged less than half of my previous guy, and the technician was kind and efficient. The kind of guy you want for a friend. In a world where customer service is becoming a thing of the past, I can't give this company a high enough recommendation. Thanks for a job well-done.

I had my air ducts cleaned and chimney swept. I had a concern about having this service done as in interior of the home was recently painted. When booking my appointment I expressed my concern and was told the worker will use a blade to cut around the vent. I informed the worker when he arrived about the paint. He wasn’t particularly happy about having to cut around the vents and expressed it will take longer for the job to be completed. About half of the the vents were removed with care. In some areas the same level of care was not given. I did tip the worker for his inconvenience but I am not

We moved to Norco in April and wanted to get our chimney checked out. The lady I scheduled the appointment with was super nice! I called in September and got an appointment a couple days later. Our appointment was scheduled with Jeff. The day of the appointment the poor guy had some car issues. The company made sure to keep me in the loop as far as his updated arrival time. Jeff was also very apologetic when he arrived (which was only maybe 30 minutes after scheduled time). We had a very great experience with this company! Thanks to Blodgetts we now feel safe using our chimney. Going forward this

Was in a need of finding someone to take a look at my fireplace, called around 3 other businesses before calling Blodgett. Would have saved plenty of time if I had called them first. The other companies were either too busy, doesn't want to work on weekends or very pricey just to do an inspection (i'm talking about 200 bucks just to visit).

This is the 1st time we've had our chimney swept. We've owned our home for 21 years and we just didn't realize having the chimney swept was a thing in CA, until we were on vacation and our son called to tell us our carbon monoxide alarm was going off. We replaced the alarm (it was defective, phew).
After some research we realized that chimney build up can cause unseen damage to a home. Even though the alarm was going off because it was defective we thought it would be a good idea to have the chimney inspected and swept (peace of mind).

Amazing service, this is the company I keep talking about to all my clients, family and friends. I started a mini remodel in my condo, my uncle suggested I have the vents cleaned before he put the new vent covers on. I like to keep my money in my area and with small businesses, I called 2 places prior to calling them; from the start they were very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. They were able to come out the very next day in the morning so I scheduled it. The next morning I received a text letting me know Cory was on the way, I was amazed, I got notice and he was right on time.

We had our dryer vent and all our air ducts cleaned because we felt our allergies were getting worse inside our home. The next day after the service was done, we woke up without a stuffy nose for the first time in a long while, and allergies symptoms have gotten better since. Highly recommend. Very competitive price and helpful moving big items around the house to reach vent and air ducts.

After having my fireplace boarded up for over a year I decided to have it cleaned. Last time I used it the smoke was coming into the room and not up the fireplace. I could smell something coming from inside the fireplace even with it being boarded up which was also bad. I called Blodgetts because it was the #2 option here on Yelp. In all honesty I called the #1 option (A Quality Chimney Sweep) first but his voicemail stated he was booked until February - sorry nope not waiting. A nice lady answered for Blodgetts however and got me the next available appointment which was on December 24th.
