This dude is a flake .I called a week ago first he told me the 20th then an hour later told me he could do it on the 23 @ 2pm. Went and ran errands got home at 130 2 o'clock came and went to 230 300 no call nothing I attempted to call no answer voicemail full finally at 4 call clock I called . He answered and said I'm glad you called I left my work book in my truck that broke down and was waiting for people to call. I asked when can you come do it . He said idk my truck not working . I told him forget it I wail call some one else . Thanks buddy due to your unprofessionalism you saved

We’ve used John’s services twice over the last couple years. Once for a big job to make an old fireplace safe and today to install a gas fireplace set in one of our fireplaces. I called a few contractors to do a chimney sweep. All said that they were booked til January, except for John who could do it in just a few days. He showed up on time and swept the chimney as promised. When I booked the appointment, I was told that if the chimney needed repairs, that he would have to do those first. I thought that was fair because no good contractor should clean a chimney and leave it in a dangerous condition.
Once he was finished cleaning the chimney, I asked him to install a new H burner and add fireplace glass and balls, which he kindly did. All for a reasonable price. Thanks

Classic bait and switch company. No initial mention of an inspection fee of $145 due immediately cash or check. Called out to clean the chimney which they refused to due unless we hired them for almost $2500 of additional work. Avoid and save your money for a company that will just do what they were hired to do.

After many years of not having our chimney maintenced we had John's Chimney Sweep come out to clean and inspect our chimney. He was very professional and very honest. He went above and beyond to get our chimney in proper shape for fire season. He probably spent more time than usual and told me it was no problem, he was here to help. I will definitely be using him for all of our future maintenance!

I scheduled chimney repair to be completed before the close of escrow. They called a day before the appointment to reschedule about 3 weeks later. I couldn't wait because it was a repair request for escrow. I then asked him to send me a quote so I could include it in escrow. He originally quoted me 475.00. When he sent the quote it was 1600.00 on a text. I asked him if that was accurate and he said yes. Since he claimed he had to do brick work. I believe the minute he knew that it was going to be included in escrow he decided to try and rip me off. He is not honest. He said he had to go out

John and his partner were very friendly and efficient. I needed a chimney inspection within a day and they came the day after I contacted them. When John met me at the house, he immediately got to work and immediately found all the problems the chimney had and what repairs needed to be done. He finished his inspection in less than half an hour and had plenty of details to provide for what was wrong with the chimney and what needed to be done in order to remedy the problems. His report is clear and lists everything needed in order to get the chimney up to working code. I highly recommend John for

Had an appointment with them for Christmas Eve day so we could use our fireplace on Christmas Day. We received a call a few hours before the appointment from a lady saying that they would not be coming due to the rain. During the call I was looking out the window at clear skies and the rain that prevented them from coming never came. I figured these people are lazy and didn't want to earn their money.
